Pyramids of Giza - Day 1: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis, and Sakkara

The tour guide will collect guests from their hotel at 8:00 AM to embark on a full-day tour visiting the Pyramids of Cheops, Chechen, and Mykerinus, accompanied by an Egyptologist guide. Guests will enjoy a panoramic view, capturing all the pyramids in one photograph. A 30-minute camel ride is included.

Great Sphinx - The tour continues to the Sphinx, featuring a pharaoh’s head on a lion’s body, dating back to Chephren’s era. The itinerary includes a visit to the Valley Temple of the Chephren Pyramids, which served two purposes: purifying the king’s mummy before burial and facilitating the mummification process.

Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - The tour proceeds to the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure, built during the 3rd Dynasty for King Djoser.

Memphis and Sakkara - Explore this renowned historical site, once Egypt’s capital around 3200 B.C., where all kings ruled. Visitors will see the colossal statue of King Ramses II.

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Guests will be picked up from their hotel by an Egyptian tour guide and driver at 8:00 AM to visit the fascinating Egyptian Museum, showcasing artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum houses a rare collection spanning 5,000 years of art, considered the world’s largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian art. Over 250,000 remarkable artifacts are displayed, including a dedicated exhibit for Tutankhamen’s treasures, gold, and jewelry, which remained in his tomb for over 3,500 years until its discovery in the 1920s.

Mosque of Muhammad Ali - The tour proceeds to the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque within the Citadel of Salah El Din, where visitors can admire Islamic artifacts carved on the walls and see the similar Sultan Ahmed Mosque of Turkey.

Coptic Cairo - Explore the Christian section of Cairo, visiting one of the most renowned churches in the Middle East, the Hanging Church.
