• Gizeh Plateau - The tour begins at 8:00 am with a pickup from the customer’s hotel in Cairo or Giza by our tour guide. The full-day tour of Giza includes a visit to the Giza Pyramids, where you will see the Great Pyramids of Giza - Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. You will also visit the Valley Temple, the site where priests mummified the body of King Chephren, the owner of the second pyramid at Giza Plateau. Here, you can also get a close-up view of the Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren, standing by the grand funeral complex.

• Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, but the site remains unexcavated.

• Pyramid of Menkaure - Menkaure’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple.

• Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple revealed several statues of Khafre, discovered in a well in the temple’s floor by Mariette in 1860.

• Great Sphinx - Here, you will have a close-up view of the Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren, standing by the grand funeral complex.

• Memphis and Sakkara - Continue your tour to Memphis City, the ancient capital of Egypt, where the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx are located. This city dates back to 3100 B.C. (1hr)

At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to the hotel you departed from.

• Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Saqqara (Arabic: سقارة, Egyptian Arabic pronunciation: [sɑʔːɑːɾɑ]), also spelled Sakkara or Saccara in English /səˈkɑːrə/, is an Egyptian village in the markaz (county) of Badrashin in the Giza Governorate, containing ancient burial grounds of Egyptian royalty, serving as the necropolis for the ancient Egyptian capital, Memphis. Saqqara is home to numerous pyramids, including the Pyramid of Djoser, sometimes called the Step Tomb, and several mastaba tombs. Located about 30 km (19 mi) south of modern-day Cairo, Saqqara covers an area of approximately 7 by 1.5 km (4.3 by 0.9 mi).

• Pyramids of Dahshour - Visit the Dahshur Pyramids (Bent and Red Pyramids). The Dahshur area is a royal necropolis located in the desert on the West Bank of the Nile, about 40 kilometers (25 mi) south of Cairo. It is renowned for several pyramids, two of which are among the oldest, largest, and best-preserved in Egypt, built from 2613–2589 BCE.

• Statue of Ramses II - The Statue of Ramesses II is a 3,200-year-old figure depicting him standing. Discovered in 1820 by Giovanni Battista Caviglia at the Great Temple of Ptah near Memphis, Egypt, it is made from limestone and weighs 83 tons. This statue was created to celebrate the victory over the Hittites in the Battle of Kadesh in 1274 B.C.

• Mastaba of Ti - The Mastaba of Ti is one of the most significant archaeological sites in Saqqara. Discovered by Auguste Mariette, the mastaba contains two serdabs. The tomb walls depict various scenes of everyday life. Ti (also spelled Ty) was a senior official and royal architect in the Fifth Dynasty, serving under several kings. He oversaw the sun temples of Neferirkare and Niuserre. His wife was Neferhetepes.

• Pyramid of Unas - The Pyramid of Unas (Egyptian: Nfr swt Wnjs “Beautiful are the places of Unas”) is a smooth-sided pyramid built in the 24th century BC for the Egyptian pharaoh Unas, the ninth and final king of the Fifth Dynasty. It is the smallest Old Kingdom pyramid but is significant due to the discovery of Pyramid Texts, spells for the king’s afterlife inscribed into the walls of its subterranean chambers. First inscribed in Unas’s pyramid, the tradition of funerary texts continued in the pyramids of subsequent rulers, through to the end of the Old Kingdom, and into the Middle Kingdom through the Coffin Texts that form the basis of the Book of the Dead.
