A walk through Location, Mummification & Art - We’re so happy we went with private tour over a group tour. Our guide, Hamy, was very knowledgeable and gave a great tour! The entire day went smoothly and we got to see everything we wanted to. It works out well having a private driver, and admission and lunch paid for by the guide, all included in the tour fee. Definitely recommend booking if you want a tailored to and unique experience in Cairo! Wear comfortable shoes as you’ll be walking through sand and climbing through rocks and pyramids, and long pants if you plane on riding a camel.

Ancient Egypt in a Single Day! - Karma & Mohamed took care of my every need. Karan’s ancient Egypt knowledge was phenomenal. I felt like I was stepping back in time at every stop. This is the tour to take if you want to sample the best archeology Egypt has.

The best guided tour for entire day the money can buy! Ask for Honey archeologist to guide you! 11/10 experience - We were so lucky to get Honey as our tour guide! He showed us the progress for all egiptian dynasties with great details and funny stories! He was passionate about the history and brought up the most important parts of it for us to understand the wider context. He was took us to the most interesting parts of Memphis and the great piramids of Giza! We also got time to ride camels and quads over the desert with amazing view for the great piramids! We had a lunch included and in general we had a wonderful time for a whole day! Every entrance was included except insights of the great piramids (but we bought extra tickets for the entrance to Cheops piramid which was worth it).
11/10 highly recommended!

Honey tour - We had an absolutely incredible day on this tour! Our guide, Honey, was fantastic — not only a great guide but also a real archaeologist with an impressive depth of knowledge about Egyptian history and culture. He explained everything in such an engaging and passionate way that made every site come alive.
This was truly one of the best tours we’ve had in Egypt. Everything was well organized, comfortable, and full of fascinating stops — from the pyramids and the Sphinx to Saqqara and Memphis. Honey made sure we had plenty of time for photos and enjoyed every moment without feeling rushed.
If you want a tour that’s both educational and unforgettable, ask for Honey — he’ll make your day in Cairo.

Memory for a lifetime - Highly recommended experience, memory for a lifetime! At first I was a bit intimidated by the price tag but I can assure you, this experience is really worth it! We were fortunate enough with our guide, an egyptologist, Hani, who paid special attention to us the whole day. Taught history, cracked jokes, took photos, while also being flexible and patient the whole time. The tour contains all of the listed experiences, so I do not want to spoiler any of it in detail. Just one addition: the lunch after the experience is also very-well organized, with spectacular view.

A perfect day with all the best sites! - When searching for a tour of the top sites in Egypt, it’s easy to be overwhelmed, but I am so thankful we found this tour! Our guide, Karam, was prompt and arranged all the details in advance. Everything was clear, clean, and most importantly, I felt extremely safe with 2 children along.
Karam’s English was clear and easy to understand, but his depth of knowledge and his passion for Egyptian history was so impressive and drew us all in. We had a very full day, the Giza pyramids, camel ride, Sphinx, lunch, jewelry shop, papyrus shop, Memphis, Saqqara, Carpet school, and ATV riding in the desert.
Each stop had opportunities to buy, but through they do their sales jobs well, there is no obligation to buy. The Carpet school was my favorite shop, as the profits directly benefit the artisans, and their work is absolutely stunning.
Overall, Karam and Sami, our driver, made our day unforgettable and a highlight of our trip. Choose this tour, you won’t regret it!

Amazing Tour in One Day - No Regrets!!!! - This is a great Tour and I highly recommend. Communication with our tour guide (Karam) was excellent. We provided our details in advance of our trip and they had them down from then forward. We met at 8am at our hotel and set off for the Giza pyramid complex. Excellent information was shared and Karam did an excellent job of navigating the crowds for some amazing pictures. Karam also knew all the right angles for excellent memory making photos.
After the great pyramids we moved on to the camel ride. There was an opportunity to purchase head scarfs made of Egyptian cotton (maybe a little bit pricey, but great quality). The scarfs are needed for both the camel ride and later the ATV ride to keep the dust out of your hair and off your face. Be sure to wear sunglasses as well. We then rode Bedouin camels to the Sphinx (our Bedouin guide called it the “Sphinxus”) and they took great photos along the way. Karam was waiting for us near the Sphinx.
The Sphinx viewing area is a crazy busy madhouse of humanity, but the Sphinx is truly an amazing site to behold and if you’re patient, you can get great pics.
From there we went to lunch at a near by Egyptian restaurant with an amazing view of the Sphinx and the second pyramid.
From here we made stops at a local jewelry shop where they can make you a name cartouche in silver or gold (jewelry store was a non-pushy experience). Then we went to a papyrus factory/shop for a demonstration and a fairly pushy sales pitch (if you have traveled and done tours you know it’s all part of the deal).
From the Papyrus Shop, the tour continued to the Memphis site with great views of the Ramses 2 statue and other sarcophagus and statues.
After Memphis we headed to Saqqara to see the oldest pyramid in Egypt (the step pyramid). This was my second favorite part of the day from a historical perspective. From this site you can see the remains of three pyramids at this location and get a few of about 6 other pyramids in varying states of preservation. This is another amazing site for great pics.
Afterwards we stopped by the Nile School for Countryside Carpets. You tour how the carpets are made and then can shop for beautiful cotton or silk hand made rugs. These are generational quality rugs. Absolutely beautiful.
Then we finished off our tour with ATV (4-wheeler) rides in the desert. This was so much fun. After the ride they dust you off with a blower (very important) and provide a wash closet.
After the ATV rides, we were returned to our hotel. The whole trip went from 8am - 7pm.
Overall this is an amazing tour, well worth the cost for all of the activities and knowledge we learned. Our driver, Sami) was incredibly courteous and we felt very safe. our guide Karam was absolutely amazing and we had a great time.
I mention the jewelry, papyrus & rug factory not as negatives, but so you know what to expect. If I knew we were going to a rug factory I may have spent money differently on the trip, as these were some of the most beautiful rugs I have ever seen.
If you choose this tour with full knowledge of what to expect, you will not be disappointed.
