• Pyramids of Giza - Your tour guide will pick you up from your requested location (if the hotel is out of range, the driver will handle the pickup) to begin your journey through Cairo to the Great Pyramids of Giza. Here, you will marvel at the pyramids of King Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. The tour will then proceed to the Valley Temple of Khafre, where the royal body of Khafre was received. This temple was constructed for the mummification process of King Khafre. Finally, you will get an up-close view of the Great Sphinx, the guardian of the Pyramids, featuring a lion’s body and the head of King Khafre. (Please note that entering the pyramids requires a special ticket, and the guide will gladly assist you.)
• Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid is the only remaining wonder of the ancient seven wonders still standing today! It was the tallest building on earth for over 3800 years. The complex includes a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman; diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, but the site has not yet been excavated. With your expert Egyptologist, you will explore the entire area. (Please note that entering the Great Pyramid requires a special ticket, and the guide will be happy to assist you.)
• Khafre’s Pyramid - The second tallest pyramid in the complex is dedicated to King Chefren or Khafre. The entire complex is well-preserved, and with your Egyptologist, you will explore the valley temple and the causeway of King Khafre. (Please note that entering the pyramids requires a special ticket, and the guide will be happy to assist you.)
• Menkaure Pyramid - The smallest pyramid on the Giza plateau, now approximately 61 meters high, is unique due to the granite outer layer that remains on the lower part of the pyramid. The granite was quarried from Aswan, over 1000 kilometers away from Giza!
• Panoramic View of the Pyramids - Next, enjoy a visit to a panoramic view of the six pyramids and the city of Giza, where you will spend 30 minutes taking photos and enjoying the scenery. The panorama is a fantastic place to enjoy a camel ride!
• Great Sphinx - With the same entry ticket to the pyramids area, you will have a close-up view of the Great Sphinx, the guardian of the Pyramids, with a lion’s body and the head of King Khafre. You will have ample time to take photos with assistance from our guide, who are also expert photographers. Then, you will begin your journey back to your hotel.
• Cairo Governorate - After completing your visit to the pyramids, we will transfer you back to your accommodation in Giza or downtown Cairo.
