- Pyramids of Giza - Hotel pick-up is scheduled for 7:30 am. The tour commences with a journey to the Giza plateau to explore the only remaining Ancient Wonder of the World, the Great Pyramid of Cheops, along with the pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus. Here, visitors can take stunning photos with a panoramic view to share with friends and cherish the memory of this magnificent monument. Additionally, there is a unique opportunity to visit the sun boat (not typically included in other tour packages; entrance fees are not included), which was originally constructed for the Great Pharaoh Cheops.
- The Khufu Boat - In ancient Egypt, a “solar barge” was often buried near a pharaoh’s tomb, as it was believed the ruler would require transportation in the afterlife. In 1954, cedar-wood barge parts were discovered in five pits near the Great Pyramid of Khufu. The barge was meticulously restored and assembled from 1,200 pieces of wood and has been on display in a glass museum near the Great Pyramid in Giza ever since.
- Great Sphinx - The Great Sphinx of Giza, often called the Sphinx of Giza or simply the Sphinx, is a limestone statue depicting a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature with a lion’s body and a human head. It faces directly from west to east and is situated on the Giza Plateau on the west bank of the Nile in Giza, Egypt. The Sphinx’s face is widely thought to represent the pharaoh Khafre.
Carved from the bedrock, the original form of the Sphinx has been restored with layers of blocks. It measures 73 meters (240 feet) in length from paw to tail, 20 meters (66 feet) in height from the base to the top of the head, and 19 meters (62 feet) in width at its rear haunches. It is the oldest known monumental sculpture in Egypt and is generally believed to have been designed, sculpted, and constructed by the ancient Egyptians of the Old Kingdom during the reign of Pharaoh Khafre (circa 2558–2532 BC).
