Great tour steeped with local history - Bilal was a patient and knowledgeable guide. He made the trip to the pyramids smooth and easy. He took us to the best spots for photos and gave us great history lessons along the way. The driver was also really nice and professional too.

Great Highlight Tour - We didn’t have much time in Cairo so we picked this tour to see a lot in a short time. It delivers all the sights and a lot of history jammed into a day. Bilal is very knowledgeable and was able to navigate us through a lot of crowds. He was accommodating to us and switched up the plans based on our preferences. I would highly recommend this as a way to visit Cairo.

Highly recommend - Loved my experience with our tour guide Hind. She was warm, knowledgeable and efficient throughout our tour of the pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. She kept us informed, took incredible photographs for our group of 11, warned against scams, and made sure to keep us on time without losing out on any of the experiences. Would definitely recommend her :)

My Experience in the Pyramids - It was the most amazing day out from start to finish by booking this tour with Camel and Lunch. She was a friendly, informative guide that made the visit fun and interesting! Definitely the highlight was riding the camel next to the pyramids great views, and we got some perfect shots. The lunch was delicious and made right at the local cantina. Everything went smoothly and right on time, from when they picked us up till they dropped us back. It’s a fun little adventure for anyone who just wants to see the pyramids and enjoy some really nice views in only a few hours.

My Experience Visiting the Pyramids - Overall, the tour was a good experience — well-organized and It was such a good experience. The guide was informative and friendly, sharing the history of the pyramids while also talking about interesting facts about them without it feeling forced or as if a script was being read. The private arrangement was nice and flexible with lots of time for photos and wandering around both the Great Pyramid and the Sphinx. The camel ride was enjoyable ,a great way to appreciate the desert landscape and snap some memorable photos. The lunch was delicious and local, served in a clean local restaurant.

Not bad, but could have been better - The tour itself was good. The guide Mahmoud was friendly, spoke good German and answered all our questions. The information was very interesting. Even the food was delicious, but the best thing about the tour was our driver Mohamed. He was the only person that day who was not pushy, but reserved and very accommodating. He was also a really good driver. The things that negatively affected the tour: - I had booked the tour for 10am. Shortly after booking I was informed that the tour had to be postponed to 12:30. 20 minutes to 11, I am informed that we can be picked up at 11. Since I started from the other time, I just put my child to sleep. I was able to change the time back to 12:30, but the back and forth was not so great. - At the camel ride we gave the camel driver 200 E£ as a tip, as we only had 200th notes. And that seemed like a generous tip to me. But the driver has directly demanded another 200 E£ note. He was really persistent when I refused. That left a bitter aftertaste where the ride itself was quite good. - but what bothered me the most was the fact that the guide Mahmoud tried to carry my daughter (19 months old) throughout the tour. She has said no to it several times and I have cautiously indicated that she does not like strangers. But we were ignored. In the end, I was annoyed by it. And the tour was not as relaxed as it could have been. - at the end we were driven to an essential oils shop unsolicited. The shop itself was really great and the lady who explained everything to us was great. But I was quite finished at this point and really just wanted to get back to the hotel. We were nevertheless asked if we still wanted to go to the papyrus shop next door. I have clearly rejected that. These negative points led me to give only 3 stars. It could have been 5 if everyone was like our driver Mohamed.
