Pyramid Half Day Trip - We had the best guide, Beshoy. Beshoy was very personable and fantastic guide. Beshoy picked us up from our hotel. He was organized and kept us on time throughout the day, and we felt safe at all times. We had plenty of time to spend at the pyramids and sphinx. We opted for the camel ride and our pictures turned out great. The camel ride was very short, just a few minutes to get on the camel and take photos in front of the pyramid. I’d say the camel ride was worth it & probably wouldn’t want to spend longer on the camel anyway. I wouldn’t recommend the Quad bike/ATV option just because of how the independent ATV’s are organized/operated, but it wasn’t anything to do with our half day tour guide, or this tour itself. For example, the independent ATV “guide” sat on the front of my ATV and drove my ATV while I was riding on it, which defeats the purpose of selecting the ATV add on. Similarly, we weren’t on the ATV’s very long (basically to get them in front of the pyramids for a picture) and didn’t have free time to ride them. I would absolutely go on this tour again (without the ATV option), and recommend them to others.

Good experience - Since it was a private tour, the guide gave us very detailed and thoughtful explanations about the history. It was my first time experiencing many of these things, and I truly enjoyed every moment.

Amazing experience with Sandy and Team! - I’ve been in many tours around the world and this one was my best experience yet! Everything was prompt and on time and I felt right at ease from the moment my tour guide picked me up until drop off. Sandy was my tour guide and she was excellent . Full of wisdom and very fluent in English so that I can comprehend the knowledge she was communicating to me. She was the most friendly and helpful and I had a great time outside and inside the pyramid & sphinx, on the camel ride, on the ATV and all the tour stops along the way. This was my favorite trip even though I traveled solo and I highly recommend the service of Sandy and her team!

Besho the great guide!!! - If I could give 10 stars, I would. Our day at the Pyramids became the highlight of our entire Egypt trip because of our guide Besho. From the very beginning he treated us less like tourists and more like honored guests. He met us early, handled every detail smoothly, and immediately put us at ease navigating Cairo traffic and the Giza complex — which can honestly feel overwhelming if you don’t have the right guide. With Besho, there was zero stress. Tickets, timing, crowds, security checkpoints… he already had a plan before we even realized we needed one. What made the experience unforgettable was his knowledge. He didn’t just repeat memorized facts — he told the story of Egypt. Standing in front of the Great Pyramid while he explained how it was engineered 4,500 years ago gave us chills. When we reached the Sphinx, he positioned us perfectly for photos and even showed us angles we never would have found on our own. Our pictures legitimately look like magazine covers. The camel ride and quad bikes were incredible, but again — what mattered was that Besho stayed involved the entire time. He coordinated with every operator, made sure we weren’t rushed, kept vendors from bothering us, and even negotiated so we never felt pressured to buy anything. You could tell many people on the plateau knew and respected him. Inside the pyramid was a once-in-a-lifetime moment, and he prepared us beforehand so we knew exactly what to expect physically and historically. That made a huge difference. Beyond being professional, he was simply a good person. Friendly, funny, patient, and protective. He checked on us constantly — water, shade, bathroom breaks, and even recommended the perfect lunch and evening spots afterward. By the end of the day we honestly felt like we had made a friend in Cairo. Egypt is breathtaking, but the right guide determines whether you survive the day or truly experience it. Besho made us experience it. If you are even considering a Giza tour — request Besho specifically. He didn’t just show us the pyramids… he gave us a memory we will talk about for the rest of our lives.

An Unforgettable Egyptian Adventure with a Kind, Knowledgeable Guide and Driver - We had an amazing experience in Egypt with our tour guide Ehab and driver Maged, who were both incredibly kind, friendly, and made my sister and me feel comfortable throughout the day. Ehab shared great history at the pyramids, and we also loved learning about aromatherapy and Egyptian spices directly from the local shop owners, which made the experience feel very authentic. We went quad biking, camel riding, and explored the pyramids, while Maged ensured we were always safe and comfortable. We highly recommend them for an unforgettable experience in Egypt.

Not worth booking this tour - I wouldn’t recommend this tour, it’s way better to vist the pyramid’s by yourself. For starters in addition to what we were expecting of the tour, we first went to several stores where we sometimes got a short and interesting explanation about how the carpets and papyrus are made… But in each store we almost felt obligated to buy something… Then we started the Quad tour, we were with two. First they made us buy a scarf which they said was needed. In my opinion it wasn’t needed, and if it was the tour guide should have told us before the tour as we had some scarfs in the hotel. A guy came with us but instead of having his own quad he would sit in front of my quad the whole ride which was quite annoying. After 20 minutes he wanted to take us back although we had a quad tour for 1 hour! We had to complain to be able to drive around a little longer… Going to the pyramids, I felt like everything was rushed, we weren’t allowed to walk, the guide told us we could only go from place to place with the busses that drive there. Although we saw all tourists walk, and we actually wanted to walk but ‘weren’t allowed’… We really wanted to go inside the pyramid. But our guide kept trying to talk us out of it even after we made it clear we really wanted to go inside… The language of the tour guide was in our eyes a bit too much. He would say ‘I love you guys’ ‘you’re my cousin, you’re my sister’ constantly and already ask for his tip before the tour was ended. I wouldn’t say this tour was terrible, but if I would have known I wouldn’t have booked it.
