- Pyramids of Giza - Begin your journey by exploring the Great Pyramids at the Giza Plateau, the site of Egypt’s most remarkable heritage and the sole surviving wonder of the ancient world. Here, at the edge of the golden sands, stand the awe-inspiring pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure — timeless structures that have fascinated explorers, scholars, and visitors for over 4,500 years. Each stone, pathway, and panoramic view in Giza narrates a tale of power, enigma, and unparalleled human accomplishment. Today, visitors are invited to step back in time, walk where the Pharaohs once did, and experience the enchantment of ancient Egypt firsthand.
- Panoramic view of the Pyramids - Photo Stop
Upon entry, take the shuttle bus to a stunning panoramic stop where all three pyramids align in one unforgettable scene. This is the ideal spot for photographs, desert vistas, and even an optional camel or horseback ride — a quintessential Giza experience.
- Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - The largest pyramid ever constructed in Egypt and the crowning glory of the Giza Plateau. Originally standing at an impressive 146 meters, this architectural marvel was built using over 2 million limestone blocks, each meticulously placed with extraordinary accuracy. As visitors walk around its vast base, they will sense the immense scale of this ancient wonder and discover the ingenious engineering techniques that continue to intrigue experts today.
- Khafre’s Pyramid - Next, explore the Pyramid of Khafre, easily identified by the remnants of its smooth casing stones at the top. Situated on higher ground, it gives the illusion of being taller than Khufu’s. Here, visitors will learn about the intriguing story of Pharaoh Khafre and his influence on Egypt’s golden era.
- Menkaure Pyramid - Pause to visit the smallest of the family pyramids.
- Great Sphinx - The Great Sphinx & the valley temple
The tour continues to one of the world’s most iconic landmarks: the Great Sphinx. Carved from a single limestone outcrop, this majestic guardian — with the body of a lion and the head of a king — has overseen the plateau for millennia. Here, visitors will uncover the legends, myths, and secrets surrounding this enigmatic figure.
Adjacent to the Sphinx is the Valley Temple, a crucial site in the funerary practices of ancient Egypt. With its polished granite and limestone interior, this well-preserved temple reveals the sacred rituals of mummification and royal burial ceremonies.

Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Saqqara is among several other notable necropolis sites near Cairo that offer impressive sights and hold significant archaeological importance. In fact, Saqqara may be of greater interest to archaeologists than Giza. The expansive site hosts burials dating from before the Old Kingdom through the Greek Period of Egyptian history.
The most renowned structure at Saqqara is Djoser’s Step Pyramid. Dating from the 3rd dynasty (2667—2448 BC), it was the first all-stone complex ever constructed on earth. It also showcases an important architectural innovation for the construction of the Giza Pyramids and other later pyramids in the 4th dynasty and beyond.
Djoser’s pyramid was the first to utilize multiple mastabas (rectangular tomb structures) stacked on top of one another to form a step pyramid. This construction paved the way for the smooth sides of the Giza Pyramids and the smaller 5th and 6th dynasty pyramids found at Saqqara and other nearby sites, such as Dahshur and Abu Sir.
- Memphis and Sakkara - Conclude your tour by visiting Memphis (Mit Rahina), the first capital of Egypt, founded by King Mena in 3100 BC. It includes a colossal statue of King Rameses II and an open-air museum.
At the end of the tour, enjoy a comfortable transfer back to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.
