• Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - The Great Pyramid of Giza, also known as Khufu’s Pyramid, is the largest and oldest of the three pyramids on the Giza Plateau. Built over 4,500 years ago during Pharaoh Khufu’s reign, it originally reached about 146 meters in height. It is the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still in existence today. • Khafre’s Pyramid - The Second Pyramid at Giza belongs to Pharaoh Khafre, the son of Khufu. It appears taller than the Great Pyramid because it is built on higher ground, but it is actually slightly smaller (about 136 meters high). It is known for retaining some of its original limestone casing near the top and is located near the Great Sphinx, which is also believed to have been built by Khafre.

• Menkaure Pyramid - The Third Pyramid of Giza belongs to Pharaoh Menkaure, the grandson of Khufu. It is the smallest of the three, standing about 65 meters tall. Despite its size, it is known for its elegant design and was once partially covered with red granite. It is surrounded by three smaller queen’s pyramids nearby.

The Sphinx stands guard near Khafre’s pyramid and symbolizes strength and wisdom in ancient Egyptian culture.
