• Pyramids of Dahshour - Visiting Dahshour’s Bent and Red Pyramids is a unique experience, as visitors often have the site entirely to themselves. The Bent Pyramid may have resulted from a calculation error, as it began at an angle of 55 degrees but was completed with a less steep slope of around 44 degrees due to stability concerns. It is the pyramid that still retains much of its fine limestone covering and was opened for interior visits in 2019. The Red Pyramid is the oldest true pyramid shape in Egypt, built at a slope of 43 degrees. Climbing to the entrance offers amazing views of the Saqqara and Abu Sir pyramids.

The burial chamber was opened in 2020 after many years of restoration. In Saqqara, you have an optional opportunity to visit tombs.
