Fantastic guide and driver helped make tour memorable. - An inspirational tour! Our first time in Egypt and first visit to the pyramids and new Egyptian museum. Our guide Ehab was fantastic- a font of knowledge about the sites and Ancient Egypt. He made the day for us- we would have got much less out of it if it wasn’t for him and his wealth of knowledge and information. Both Ehab and our driver Mahmoud were helpful, courteous and friendly throughout our tour. We are so glad that they were our guide and driver for this tour. Thank you.

Splendid day in Giza - The tour was very well organized and everything went smooth thanks to our brilliant guide Asmaa. Her wast knowledge in egyptology was amazing and we learned a lot from her during the day. The site (the great pyramides) are exeptional experience that one must have! Standing in front of the great Sphinx of Giza is simply breathtaking. To close the day we visited the Grand Egyptian Museum. One can stay there and explore the entire day. With the experienced guide such as our Asmaa, who knew how to lead us through the museum area and to highlight the key aspects, we got the best retrospective of the acient Egypt. We truly ecommend the tour! Special thanks to Asmaa.

Completely amazing! - We had an amazing experience visiting the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum thanks to our wonderful driver and tour guide. From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized and smooth. Our driver Shady , was professional, punctual, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the day. Our guide Ehab was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable about the history of ancient Egypt and explained everything in a clear and engaging way. Visiting the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum with him made the experience much more meaningful and interesting. He was also very friendly, patient, and happy to answer all of our questions. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we highly recommend them to anyone visiting Cairo. They truly made our visit unforgettable.

What do you have for a billion euros? - The Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo: a monument XXL facing the pyramids The GEM is not a “classic” museum: it is an ultra-modern monument. With its 500,000 m2 facing the pyramids of Giza, it impresses even before entering. Announced as early as the 1990s and launched in the mid-2000s, the project took more than 20 years to complete between construction, delays and adjustments. A full opening was announced for July 3, 2025, before being postponed; the official inauguration finally took place on November 1, 2025. And the GEM thinks big: it is often presented as the largest museum in the world dedicated to a single civilization (Ancient Egypt). Upon arrival, Ramses II welcomes visitors in a giant version (11 m, 83 tons). Then comes the Grand Staircase: 108 steps lined with pharaonic statues, with a superb view of the pyramids (and a small reminder that history is worthwhile). Inside, the GEM is lining up more than 100,000 artifacts spanning 7,000 years of history, many of which have never been exhibited. The galleries alternate chronological routes and themes (royalty, religion, daily life), with mummies, gold masks and rare pieces, not to mention the hanging obelisk and red quartzite sculptures. The great moment is Tutankhamun: 5,000 items gathered in one place for the first time, including its solid gold mask, three coffins (one 110 kg), floats, jewelry... and more than 20,000 original artifacts. The result: the largest archaeological museum dedicated to a single civilization... and a visit that leaves a real “wow” in memory.
