• Great Sphinx - Continue exploring the rest of the Giza plateau, including the magnificent Sphinx, the largest statue on earth, measuring 72 meters in length and 23 meters in height. A stop at the Western Plateau offers excellent photo opportunities of the three Pyramids with the sprawling city of Cairo in the background.
• Mosque of Muhammad Ali - Visit the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, designed by the architect Yousef Bushnaq, a Turkish man who traveled from Istanbul to construct this magnificent mosque for Muhammad Ali. Construction began in 1830 and was completed in 1857 in the Ottoman style. Visitors can also see the Gawhara Palace of Muhammad Ali, built by the Mamluks and Ottomans.
• Cairo Citadel - Proceed to the Citadel of Muhammad Ali to explore the Turkish-designed mosque of Muhammad Ali, also known as the Alabaster Mosque.
• Khan Al-Khalili - Conclude the tour with a visit to the vibrant and colorful Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old Bazaar. Here, guests can find Egyptian souvenirs ranging from ornate free-standing tobacco pipes and pharaoh-themed items to belly dancing costumes, spices, and carpets. It is a shopper’s paradise and a photographer’s dream come true. Visitors can also see the Al-Azhar Mosque and the unique Islamic ancient streets and complex.
