It was built in the 3rd Dynasty for King Djoser.\n\n- Memphis and Sakkara - After that transfer to Memphis which was founded by King Menes, and was the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom, it was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years the first capital of Egypt, and see the Statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx of Memphis.\n\nAt the end, the guide will drop you off at your hotel after the tour is finished.

Just great - After booking this trip I realized we also want to visit Dahshur Pyramids. So they added Dahshur to our trip. Our guide, Miko, was great. He immediately adapted to my children (ages 11,14,16), he told them (and repeated) the basics of Egyptian history. He bought soft drinks for the children (and me) and even gave a tip to the local guide in one of the pyramids, as I had left all my money in the car. Miko knows a guy at the Great Pyramid who does those Instagram photos. The King Titi pyramid in Saqqara is more interesting on the inside than the Great Pyramid. I really think I made a great choice.
