Pyramid Paradise - From start to finish, this private Pyramids tour was nothing short of exceptional – truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget. Our journey began very early in the morning, with a smooth pick-up from our hotel in Hurghada and transfer to the airport. Flying business class to Cairo was such a lovely touch and set the tone for what was to come – comfortable, seamless and well organised throughout. When we arrived in Cairo, we were warmly welcomed by our private driver, Saeed, who instantly made us feel at ease. He had thoughtfully prepared bottled water and snacks for us, and even brought Kinder chocolate for our son, who is 6 – such a small but incredibly kind gesture that meant so much. It was clear straight away that he had children of his own and just knew how to make the experience special for families. The real highlight of the day, however, was our incredible guide, Bassant. She is truly amazing – not only knowledgeable and professional, but also such a genuinely kind and beautiful person inside and out. She looked after us so well, especially our son, making sure he was comfortable, engaged and enjoying every moment. Bassant made the entire day feel effortless. She knew all the shortcuts, helped us avoid queues, and ensured we had the best possible experience at every stop. It really felt like we were getting VIP treatment throughout the day. Seeing the Pyramids was absolutely breathtaking – something you dream about and then suddenly you’re there in real life. We also visited the new Egyptian Museum, which was fascinating, and explored the bazaar where the atmosphere was vibrant but never overwhelming. The sellers were friendly, relaxed and welcoming – and many of them spoke so highly of Bassant, which says everything about how respected she is. One of the most memorable moments was the camel ride by the pyramids. Bassant joined us, which made it feel even more special and safe, and the camel guides were fantastic – clearly a reflection of her strong relationships with them. We were also treated to a lovely evening meal before heading back to the airport, which was the perfect way to end such an unforgettable day. What really stood out about this experience was how personal it felt. It didn’t feel like a standard tour at all – it genuinely felt like being shown around Cairo by family. The care, attention to detail, and warmth from both Saeed and Bassant made all the difference. Cairo itself is incredible – vibrant, historic and full of life – but having the right people guiding you makes it truly special. I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone, especially families. If you have the chance to tour with Bassant and Saeed, don’t hesitate – they are absolutely brilliant.
