We had a blast! - We had an awesome time in Cairo and Luxor. Everything was coordinated by Meme Tours. The tour guides and drivers were excellent. We can not wait to visit Egypt again.

My husband and I celebrated Year 3 in an unforgettable way—with the trip of a lifetime, filled with history, adventure, and last - Next, we arrived in Cairo for our planned adventure in Egypt 🇪🇬, curated by the wonderful @mayor_meme, whom I discovered through a travel group. I highly recommend booking with him—he was sweet, responsive, and easy to work with. The highlight of the trip was hands down Sara, the best member of @mayor_meme’s team. She was absolutely phenomenal—I wish she could have stayed with us the entire time! Not only was she our guide for two days, but she was also our photographer. She took us straight to see the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx—what a breathtaking sight! Sara was not only knowledgeable about Egyptian history, but also a fun and engaging host. From there, we flew to Aswan and Luxor. I don’t recommend driving—take a short and affordable flight instead. One of the most memorable moments of the trip was the anniversary celebration @mayor_meme arranged for us, complete with a beautiful cake and a special dinner shared with others at the restaurant. It was a truly touching and joyful experience. Overall, we had an amazing trip! Huge thanks to @mayor_meme and to the wonderful Sara 😘😘

Amazing - His team of advisor and guides were incredible. Upon arrival at the airport, I was whisk through processing for entry, my driver was awaiting as he took me to my destination. I met my guides the following morning to begin my tour. Omar was my guide and he was incredible. Open my next trip to Egypt. I’ll be using this team once again.

Mayor MeMe - An Absolute Delight!!! - Mayor Meme, especially Gouda, Mohammed (MeMe, and Tuha were absolutely awesome!! From the very beginning, MeMe was super responsive, so much so, I thought "are they for real"....and they totally are...we went through many many itinerary options, and MeMe was super patient and insightful. Gouda was super cool with our Cairo tours, helping negotiate prices, and offering great photo suggestions; then came the transfer to Aswan and Luxor, and the Emad was also very helpful. Note, we selected our own hotels, and made our own flight reservations, but MeMe took care of everything else!! AND, we decided to do the hot air balloon ride, and while Egypt and the history are just EPIC, the balloon was amazing...didn't feel like I was off the ground - amazing experience. Definitely recommend Mayor MeMe....from arrival to drop off - amazing experience!!!

Mayor Meme & Associates - Gouda - The tour was amazing. There is so much rich history, and our expert tour guide went above and beyond to give us a great experience. We saw pyramids, mosques, chapels, synagogues and museums...... the tours included lunch, which were absolutely delicious. Gouda thought of everything! He thought of timing since we visited during Ramadan. Even our driver was top notch, and you better believe you need a driver in Cairo. My son's birthday was on one of the nights, they arranged dinner with a view of the pyramids and they even sent a cake for him. This was a one of a kind type of tour and we loved it!

When our overnight bus from Cairo to Luxor dropped us at the wrong location, I was frustrated, exhausted, and struggling to communicate with the bus staff. But one call to MeMe—after midnight, no less—and he immediately answered, telling me, “I got you. Stay there. My driver is coming to get you.” He made sure we were safe and taken care of without hesitation. As a single mom traveling with my kids, safety is my top priority, and with Meme Tours, I never had to worry. Transportation was always arranged, they handled every little issue that came up, and they made sure we felt secure at all times. When I didn’t have cash (I prefer using my card when I travel), they covered anything I needed without hesitation, telling me to just PayPal them later. They never made me feel uncomfortable about it—just pure generosity and care. And then, the birthday celebration—I don’t even have the words. When I mentioned that I didn’t love the dinner I had chosen based on an Airbnb host’s recommendation, they were genuinely upset that I hadn’t told them. They said, “Why didn’t you call me? I would have made sure you had exactly what you wanted.” That’s the kind of attention and care they gave to every moment of our trip. But what truly took my breath away? The surprise they arranged for me. They secretly organized a professional photo shoot at the pyramids (because they noticed how much I love capturing beautiful moments), and then—on my last day—they surprised me with a custom cake featuring one of those photos. And when I say cake matters to me, it REALLY matters—there were so many birthdays where I didn’t get a cake at all, so this wasn’t just a kind gesture, it was deeply meaningful to me. I could not believe that people who had just met me were so willing to pour into me in a way that people I’ve known for years have not. This trip was a redemption for all the times I felt forgotten on my birthday. And beyond just me, they took care of my kids in ways I will never forget. They celebrated every small win with us. Better Call Mayor MeMe Tours - Egypt EXCEEDED my expectations! First, the Egyptologists were knowledgeable and able to break down the history in bite size pieces so that you're not overwhelmed. Mayor Meme called to check up our family every step of the way. The guides and drivers were punctual and respectful. Egypt was a dream trip of mine and I will be back early next year to explore the other side One last point, the guides also shielded us from the haggling in the streets by briefing us on how to respond. I felt very safe in Egypt and shout out to the BEST driver in Cairo, Kareem. And yes, he works with Meme Tours!

Fun days in the sun at the pyramids of Giza and more ! - The pyramids of Giza exceeded my expectations. Prior to taking our wonderful pictures there, we received a detailed history of the pyramids. After taking pictures near the pyramids, the real fun began with the camel back rides and the infamous horse jumping photos. As someone who is not athletic, do not be afraid of these photos— they made it super easy! Finally the last stop of was visiting the sphinx, we received a brief history of its renovation and took a few photos.

Honest tour guide - I highly recommend Mayor Meme and his staff. He went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I had a great experience in Egypt. He was very responsive and responded quickly addressing all our concerns prior to the trip. We were short on time and he created an itinerary that maximized our time. The drivers were always on time and his guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Mayor Meme surprised us with a cake for our anniversary and a special framed picture of me for my birthday.
