Admire the magnificent pyramid of King Khufu (Cheops), the largest pyramid in the world, then proceed to Khafre (Chephren), known for its smooth fine limestone. At the top, similar to those that once covered all ancient pyramids, proceed to the Panoramic Zone for a photo stop to capture stunning images with the three pyramids in the background. Great Sphinx - On your way, pass by the valley temple of King Khafre, where his mummy was mummified. Conclude your memorable tour with the Great Sphinx, which has stood on the Giza plateau for thousands of years.

Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Visit Saqqara, one of the most significant ancient cemeteries in Egyptian history. The name likely derives from Sokar, the god of this Necropolis. Saqqara is an open-air museum showcasing artifacts from every period of ancient Egypt’s history, from the predynastic period to the Greco-Roman era. This site also features the Step Pyramid of Djoser (c. 2686-2667 BC), the oldest stone structure in human history, built by Imhotep, the vizier, in the 27th century BCE under the Third Dynasty. The pyramid is the centerpiece of a vast funeral complex, set in a large courtyard surrounded by ceremonial buildings and decorations.

Pyramids of Dahshour - Begin your tour in Dahshour by visiting the Bent Pyramids, the first attempt at pyramid construction in history. King Senfru decided to build a pyramid, but lacking experience, he started with a 54-degree angle. Realizing it would be too high, they adjusted it to 45 degrees, resulting in the pyramid’s bent shape. The Bent Pyramid is renowned for its magnificent limestone outer casing, which remains intact, and the unique design of its inner corridors, offering an unforgettable exploration experience. Then, proceed to the Red Pyramid, known as the first true pyramid in history. It is called the Red Pyramid due to its original reddish limestone covering, which unfortunately no longer exists.

Giza - Indulge in authentic Egyptian traditional cuisine, choosing from dishes like Koshary, a special combination of rice, noodles, chickpeas, black lentils, fried onions, and tomato sauce, or Shawarma, made of spit-roasted layers of lamb, beef, or other meats, often wrapped in or served with pita. Alternatively, enjoy a Falafel sandwich (deep-fried balls or patties made from chickpeas or fava beans, sometimes both), with Fava beans and Baba Ganoush sandwiches (made of eggplant blended with tahini, garlic, lemon juice, and salt). At the end of your tour, you will be driven back to your hotel.

Nile River - Delight in a 2-hour Nile River night cruise with a buffet dinner or lunch, including pickup and drop-off from your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Egyptian Museum, Museum of Egyptian Civilization with the Royal Mummies, Old Coptic Cairo

Egyptian Museum - The Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, located in the heart of Cairo, was the first building in the world specifically constructed as a museum. Opened in 1902, it houses over 160,000 artifacts dating from prehistoric to Roman periods. During the museum tour, you will see the treasures of the golden pharaoh King Tutankhamun, including his golden mask, throne, and other artifacts found in his tomb. Additionally, you will encounter other masterpieces like the treasuries and mummies of Yuya and Thuya, the silver casket of King Psusennes II from the Tanis treasures, and other famous statues from the Old Kingdom era.

National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) - NMEC offers a comprehensive view of the richness and complexity of Egyptian civilization over the years, from prehistoric times to the present day. It takes you through ancient Egyptian history, Greco-Roman, Coptic, Jewish, Islamic, and modern Egyptian history. The tour includes a visit to the Royal Mummies Exhibition, considered the museum’s crown jewel. The Royal Mummies’ Hall is designed to give visitors the impression of wandering through the Valley of the Kings, where most of these mummies were originally laid to rest. The hall features 22 Royal mummies, including 18 kings and 4 queens from the 17th to the 20th dynasties. Notable mummies include King Ahmose, founder of the 18th Dynasty, Queen Hatshepsut, the most significant female pharaoh, Thutmose III, the great warrior, and Ramses II, the great builder.

Old Cairo - Explore the most fascinating Coptic sites in Old Cairo. Witness the captivating sights of the Hanging Church, also known as the Suspended Church, built atop the Roman Fortress’ southern gate, earning its nickname. The roof, shaped like Noah’s ark, makes this church in Old Cairo uniquely distinctive. From the seventh to the thirteenth century, it served as the Coptic Patriarch’s residence. Next, visit the Church of St. Sergius and St. Bacchus, one of the most important churches in Old Cairo, built at the end of the 4th century to the beginning of the 5th century AD. Here, the holy family stayed during the 1st century AD. It is a Basilica church consisting of a rectangular building, with the church level lower than the street level.
