Memphis and Saqqara - Next, your local guide will accompany you to Egypt’s ancient capital, Memphis. Enjoy exploring this village, known as Mit Rahina, and visit a stunning museum dating back to the New Kingdom, around 1200 BC. The museum showcases the remnants of Ramses II’s temple, dedicated to Ptah, the god of knowledge and Memphis. Marvel at the colossal statue of King Ramses II, found partially damaged, measuring 10.5 meters today, originally over 14 meters.
