It was a beautiful day. - We were out with Jakob. He addressed all our wishes, such as a spontaneous camel ride by the pyramids and a boat ride on the Nile. We were always provided with something to drink. In the museum, he also gave us time to look at the exhibits ourselves. We had a private driver who took us everywhere. Best pub crawl!

Exhausting, but definitely a must-do!!! - We booked a day trip from Hurghada to Cairo with Memnon Travels. We were picked up at the hotel at 1 AM, right on time. In Cairo, our guide Magdy joined us. He wasted no time and immediately started informing us about the upcoming tour. We were ahead of the large tourist crowds at the pyramids, and Magdy not only knew the best photo stops but also told us extensively and interestingly about Egyptian history. We can recommend the visit to the tomb chamber (not included). While there is not much to see in itself, we found the entrance through the narrow corridor to the chamber and the atmosphere very impressive. After that, we went to the GEM. Magdy showed us the highlights of the museum in 3 hours. However, he could also talk for a week 😊. Before we drove back to Hurghada, we had some very delicious Egyptian food, and Magdy also answered our numerous questions about the country and its people (this is our first trip to Egypt). Conclusion: a very great, interesting day trip to Cairo with a fantastic guide.... Absolutely recommendable! A thoroughly successful day, highly recommendable.

Cairo, a dream day - We spent a wonderful day in Cairo with our guide Beshoy and our driver whose name I forgot 😔. Very interesting and rewarding excursion. He captivated us with clear information, anecdotes, out of his knowledge about Egypt which seems unlimited. Very good contact with children. He adapted the tour according to the attendance and heat. We started the visit of the pyramids around 9:40 am with possibility to take a camel ride (I recommend the view is spectacular, souvenir photos in passing), several strategic stops on the site to take the okus beautiful photos. We then went to a papyrus shop (explanations, tea tasting, possibility to buy without any forcing!). We then ate at a local restaurant which was very good and varied. We headed to the great museum (magnificent complete tour, Beshoy us to tell the essentials of the history of Egypt which is so complex). We had a little time left since the visit to the souk did not Attracted no more than that, being up since 4am children and we were H.S, we made a small detour through the center of Cairo by car to reach the airport. The excursion ended around 6:00 p.m. Return to the hotel around 11pm. It was just grand. We highly recommend this guide and agency who are really friendly, available and professional. they made us want to come back to Egypt. The transfers and flights went very well also. Very nice excursion.

An incredibly great day in Cairo that is better not to organize - This trip is fully recommended. Not quite cheap, but worth every penny. Transfer from the hotel to the airport and back by an incredibly nice driver. Flight time at 8:30 am very pleasant. In Cairo a driver and a guide were waiting for me, both were just great. The knowledge of the guide was enormous and he was also able to impart it incredibly well. The day was filled and exhausting, but that's all you can get out of a short trip. A perfect experience - A perfect experience! We booked a day trip from Hurghada to Cairo via Memnon Reisen at short notice the afternoon before. Memnon Reisen has organized the day completely individually for the five of us: Transfer from the hotel in Soma Bay to Hurghada airport and back, a day in Cairo with driver and German speaking tour guide Jakob, who studied German and Egyptology and organized our day perfectly. First a short walk through Cairo's oldest neighbourhood, then the Giza pyramids. We had instant access everywhere with no waiting times and informative explanations. We could watch everything in peace. A note: At the pyramids we took a horse-drawn carriage trip to the plateau. The horses were in poor condition, the carriages could hardly pull up the mountain anymore, they have no shade, no water and have significant pain on their legs. Please refrain from this program item for animal welfare reasons. After an organized lunch we went to the new Egyptian museum. Jakob always explained the most important things to us and then gave us time to visit individually. Afterwards we spontaneously booked a one-hour Nile cruise, just the 6 of us on a boat and discovered the most beautiful sections of Cairo's promenade from the water. Afterwards we made a small city tour to the garbage quarter and then to the inhabitants of the city of the dead. Then return to Hurghada. Memnon Reisen and Jakob organized a super great day for us and we really got an overwhelming impression of the city and the history. Thank you Jakob!
