This 6-tier, 4-sided structure is the earliest colossal stone building in Egypt, constructed in the 27th century BC during the Third Dynasty for Pharaoh Djoser’s burial by his vizier, Imhotep. The pyramid is the centerpiece of a vast mortuary complex within a large courtyard surrounded by ceremonial structures and decorations.

Al Rifai Mosque - Al-Rifa’i Mosque is situated in Midan al-Qal’a, next to the Cairo Citadel. It serves as the Khedival Mausoleum for the Royal Family of Muhammad Ali Pasha.
