Great Sphinx - Next, explore the Valley Temple, where the priests mummified King Chephren’s body. Here, you will also get an up-close view of The Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren, standing by the grand funeral complex.

Memphis and Saqqara - Continue to Egypt’s ancient capital, home to the colossal statue of Ramses II and the magnificent Alabaster Sphinx. This city dates back to 3100 B.C. The Sphinx of Memphis, a stone sphinx near the remains of Memphis, Egypt, was carved between 1700 and 1400 BC during the 18th dynasty. The honored pharaoh remains unknown, as there are no inscriptions to provide details.

Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - The Pyramid of Djoser, also known as the Step Pyramid, is an archaeological marvel in the Saqqara necropolis, northwest of Memphis. This 6-tier, 4-sided structure is the earliest colossal stone building in Egypt, constructed in the 27th century BC during the Third Dynasty for Pharaoh Djoser’s burial by his vizier, Imhotep. The pyramid is the centerpiece of a vast mortuary complex within a large courtyard surrounded by ceremonial structures and decorations.

Egyptian Museum, Cairo Citadel, and Khan El Khalili Bazaar

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Explore Egypt’s renowned artifacts, where you will encounter numerous items from various periods. On a guided tour, you will see statues of King Ramses II and the Golden Mask of the young King Tutankhamun.

Cairo Citadel - Visit the Citadel of Cairo, also known as the Citadel of Saladin, a medieval Islamic-era fortification built by Salah ad-Din and further developed by later Egyptian rulers. It served as Egypt’s government seat and the rulers’ residence for nearly 700 years, from the 13th to the 19th centuries. Step inside the Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha, constructed between 1824 and 1857 in the Ottoman style by Mohammad Ali Pasha, a ruler of Egypt.

Khan Al-Khalili - Khan el-Khalili is a prominent souq in Cairo’s historic center. The bazaar district is a major attraction for both tourists and Egyptians.

Coptic Cairo - At 9:00 am, embark on a day tour to visit the Church of Abu-Sergah and St. Barbara, the Hanging Church, and the old Jewish synagogue, Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Mosque of Amr Ibn Al-As - The Mosque of Amr ibn al-As, also known as the Mosque of Amr, was originally constructed in 641–642 AD as the center of Egypt’s newly founded capital, Fustat. It was the first mosque built in Egypt and all of Africa.

Mosque and Madrasa of Sultan Hassan - The Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Hassan is a monumental mosque and madrassa located in Cairo’s historic district. Built between 1356 and 1363 during the Bahri Mamluk period, it was commissioned by Sultan an-Nasir Hasan.

Al Rifai Mosque - Al-Rifa’i Mosque is situated in Midan al-Qal’a, next to the Cairo Citadel. It serves as the Khedival Mausoleum for the Royal Family of Muhammad Ali Pasha.
