• Pyramids of Giza - A knowledgeable Egyptologist tour guide will collect guests from their hotel to begin an exciting journey to the Giza pyramids, one of the ancient seven wonders and the only one still standing. These remarkable structures, including the renowned pyramid of King Khufu (Cheops), are among the most famous in history. Visitors can smoothly transition from one pyramid to another, explore the pyramid complex remains, and enter one of the queens’ pyramids. The tour continues to Khafre (Chephren), the world’s second-largest pyramid, known for its smooth casing, and then to the pyramid of King Menkaure, noted for its intact granite layer.
• Great Sphinx - The tour proceeds to the Panoramic Zone for a photo stop, offering stunning views of the three pyramids. Guests can enjoy a complimentary half-hour camel ride and pass by the valley temple of King Khafre, where his mummy was mummified. The tour concludes with the Great Sphinx, where visitors can capture memorable photos with Egypt’s largest Sphinx statue.
• Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - The journey continues to Saqqara, one of the most significant ancient cemeteries in Egyptian history. Saqqara serves as an open-air museum, showcasing artifacts from every era of ancient Egypt. The tour begins with the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest stone structure in human history, built by the vizier Imhotep in the 27th century BCE during the Third Dynasty. This pyramid is the centerpiece of a vast funerary complex, surrounded by ceremonial buildings and decorations.
• Pyramid of Unas - The tour also includes a visit inside the Titi pyramid, the only open decorated pyramid in Egypt, and a chance to enter one of the nobles’ decorated tombs, where the vibrant wall inscriptions depict the daily life of ancient Egyptians.
• Giza - The tour concludes with a delightful culinary experience, offering a taste of authentic Egyptian cuisine. Guests can choose from Koshary, a special mix of rice, noodles, chickpeas, black lentils, fried onions, and tomato sauce; Shawarma, made from spit-roasted layers of lamb, beef, or other meats, often served with pita; or a Falafel sandwich, featuring deep-fried balls or patties made from chickpeas or fava beans, sometimes both, along with Fava beans and Baba Ganoush sandwiches (made from eggplant blended with tahini, garlic, lemon juice, and salt). At the end of the tour, guests will be driven back to their hotel.
