Giza Tour or Airport Pickup on Arrival Date

Giza - On your arrival date, a knowledgeable Egyptologist tour guide will greet you at your hotel. The tour includes a visit to the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, the only surviving wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, as well as the pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus. Your guide will provide insightful commentary throughout the tour. You will also enjoy a panoramic view of all the pyramids, perfect for taking photos. Following this, you will visit the iconic Sphinx, explore the Valley Temple, and spend some time around the Giza Pyramid before having lunch. The next stop is Sakkara, where you will see King Zoser’s step pyramid and temple, along with newly discovered sites from the outside. The tour concludes with a return to your accommodation.

Cairo Sites

Cairo - Christian Coptic Cairo is one of the most significant sites visited by the Holy Family, where their spiritual presence is still strongly felt. Although their stay was brief, the Governor of what was then Fustat, angered by the falling idols at Jesus’ approach, sought to harm the Child. The family found refuge in a cave, over which the Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius) was later built. This area, including the Fort of Babylon, is a pilgrimage destination for Egyptians and Christians worldwide. The district exudes an atmosphere of piety and devotion. Visitors can enter the Church of Abu-Sergah and St. Barbara, the Hanging Church, and the historic Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Lunch is included, and the tour also includes a visit to the Citadel of Saladin, where you can explore the Mohamed Ali Mosque, also known as the Alabaster Mosque.

At the end of the day, you will be transferred to a guest house or inn for an overnight stay.

Upon arrival, guests will be picked up from the airport and transferred to their accommodation.

Day 1
Guests will enjoy a complimentary airport transfer or begin their day at 8:00 am with a pickup from their hotel in either Cairo or Giza. The guide will lead a full-day tour of Giza, starting with a visit to the Giza Pyramids. Guests will explore the Great Pyramids of Giza - Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, followed by a visit to the Valley Temple. This is where the priests mummified King Chephren, the owner of the second pyramid at the Giza Plateau. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see the Sphinx up close, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren, standing by the grand funeral complex. The tour at this site lasts approximately 2.5 hours. Lunch is included, and the day continues with a visit to Sakkara.

Day 2
The itinerary includes a visit to the Citadel of Saladin and the Mohamed Ali Mosque, followed by a tour of the Egyptian Museum. Lunch is included. Guests will then return to the hotel to spend their second night.
