• Kayak Center Guíxols - At the beginning of the session, the guide will provide a briefing on basic paddling techniques, managing an individual closed sea kayak, and the safety protocols. No previous experience is necessary.

The activity is set for 8:15 a.m., an ideal time for paddling, as the sea is generally calm, allowing for a peaceful exploration of the coastline.

For around two hours, participants will follow a coastal path that passes by some of the area’s most renowned landmarks. They will paddle along the cliffs of Les Sofreres and its natural bay, pass Cala del Molí — famous for its stunning sea-cliff via ferrata —, proceed to Cala Ametller, and explore the striking cliffs and channels of Cap de Mort.

The primary goal of the route is to reach the Cova dels Rats Penats, a magnificent sea cave that can only be accessed from the water.

After visiting, participants will return along the same coastal path, enjoying the scenery and the calm conditions typical of the early morning.

The activity is exclusively conducted in individual closed sea kayaks (not sit-on-top), which are ideal for touring due to their efficiency, stability, and protection.

Embark on a morning sea-kayaking adventure to a stunning sea cave, where calm waters and serene surroundings allow for the enjoyment of the gentle morning light and the discovery of Costa Brava in exceptional conditions.

This guided tour takes participants to the Cova dels Rats Penats, a magnificent sea cave accessible only by water, situated in the bay of Sant Pol – S’Agaró. During the coastal journey to the cave, the route passes the natural bay of Les Sofreres, Cala del Molí — renowned for its sea-cliff via ferrata —, Cala Ametller, and the unique cliffs and channels of Cap de Mort.

The excursion is conducted in a closed single sea kayak (not a sit-on-top), which is more efficient, stable, and perfect for coastal exploration. No previous experience is necessary: comprehensive instruction and a professional guide are provided.

Groups are kept small (maximum 7 people), ensuring enhanced safety, personalized attention, and a peaceful experience amidst nature.

• IMPORTANT: Being able to swim is mandatory to participate in this activity. For safety reasons, non-swimmers will not be allowed to participate and will not be entitled to a refund.
• Activity suitable exclusively for participants aged 14 and over and at least 1,55 m tall.
• Not recommended for participants weighing over 100 kg.
• Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, narcotics, or any medication that may impair their reaction capacity or endanger the normal conduct of the activity. Failure to comply will result in refusal of participation, with no entitlement to any refund of the amount paid.
