The journey kicks off with a morning pick-up from the hotel in Moshi at 7:30 AM, followed by a picturesque drive to Marangu Gate, the primary entrance to Mount Kilimanjaro. Once park registration is complete, the hike begins through the lush rainforest along the renowned Marangu Route.
Participants will stroll along well-maintained paths surrounded by towering eucalyptus trees, tropical vegetation, and stunning forest landscapes. The rainforest hosts wildlife such as black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, vibrant birds, and distinctive Kilimanjaro flora.
The trek proceeds to Mandara Hut, situated at 2,700 meters above sea level, where visitors can unwind, enjoy lunch, and capture photos.
