Ubud Full Day Tour con Wayan - We booked a full-day tour starting at 9:00 AM, and our guide Wayan picked us up directly from our hotel. This was the first day of a 5-tour package we booked, and it immediately set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The itinerary included the Ubud Monkey Forest, Ubud Palace, Ubud Art Market, Kintamani Volcano (where lunch was included), Tegalalang Rice Terrace, and finally the Tegenungan Waterfall. It was a long, full day, we ended up returning to our hotel around 6:30 PM, but the pacing was perfect. Even though there was a scheduled return time, Wayan never rushed us at any point. We like spending enough time at each destination, and he always encouraged us to explore without pressure, even if it meant coming back later than planned. We visited Bali in November, which turned out to be a great choice: tourist presence was noticeable but never excessive. We never experienced the overwhelming crowds that a friend of ours encountered in August, and Wayan himself confirmed that the difference between high and low season is huge. Everywhere we went felt lively but comfortable. A special mention goes to Wayan, who was exceptional from start to finish. He managed to be informative, friendly and entertaining without ever being intrusive. He always gave us space when we wanted to enjoy a place on our own, and stepped in with explanations and stories at the right moment. One thing we really appreciated was his flexibility: every day he let us adjust the pick-up time based on our needs, and he was always relaxed and accommodating. Throughout the whole trip he also suggested changes in the itinerary depending on weather conditions, which allowed us to enjoy every location at its best. Another detail that impressed us was how confidently he drove around Bali without needing GPS, clearly knowing every road and shortcut. He also gave us honest advice, for example, at the Ubud Art Market he warned us that many products weren’t truly handmade, and offered to take us elsewhere if we wanted authentic items. It was obvious that his priority was always our comfort and satisfaction. As for the places we visited: The Ubud Monkey Forest was magical. The enormous trees, hanging vines and sacred atmosphere reminded us of scenes from Avatar. Despite the warning signs about not provoking the monkeys, our experience was peaceful: they were calm, uninterested in tourists, and the relationship between the keepers and the animals was beautiful to see. The Ubud Palace was a short but interesting cultural stop, and the nearby Art Market was lively and colorful, although definitely touristy. Thanks to Wayan’s suggestions, we knew how to move through it without being pressured into buying anything. Lunch at Kintamani Volcano was excellent. The buffet offered very good Balinese food (rice, chicken and local dishes), and the view was spectacular, from the restaurant, you can clearly see the shape of the original volcano before its collapse, which makes the landscape even more impressive. The Tegalalang Rice Terrace was one of the highlights. It’s undeniably touristic, but still absolutely stunning. The terraces are huge, and we spent about an hour and a half walking through just a portion of them. We also enjoyed the famous swing and took some great photos (my girlfriend even wore one of the traditional long dresses for pictures). Even in such a popular area, the number of tourists in November was perfectly manageable. We ended the day at the Tegenungan Waterfall, another location that feels a bit structured for tourists but remains very charming. The path is easy to follow, and the waterfall is powerful, refreshing and perfect for photos. Again, pleasantly busy but never crowded. Overall, this day was fantastic from start to finish. The itinerary was varied and well organized, the scenery breathtaking, and Wayan truly made the difference with his kindness, professionalism and genuine care. We could not have asked for a better guide. If you’re visiting Bali, we highly recommend booking this tour, and if you can, ask for Wayan. He will make your experience unforgettable.

Day one of five—wonderful! - Budi picked us up at 8 am (right on time) in a large, comfortable, air conditioned SUV. Day one was a great combination of natural spots with a couple of visits to small shops specializing in batik and woodworking—quality goods. We enjoyed a walk through the Monkey Forest, lunch with terrific view of two volcanoes and, finally a trip to a waterfall. Budi was very responsive to our requests and is patient and knowledgeable. Looking forward to four more days with him!

The best guide in Bali - Wayan Netra - A big thank you to Wayan Netra for this visit that will remain forever in our memories. Everything was perfect and very well organized, we visited the famous places (Tirta Empul Temple, Tegalalang rice terrace etc.) but also other places to discover the local life of the Balinese (temples, local paintings, coffee culture, etc.). Wayan taught us a lot of things and he is very kind, always smiling. He was also flexible for other visits, we took him for our visits the following days as Sunrise in Batur Mountain.

He is an extremely safe driver, very knowledgeable about the island, and has such a kind and calm personality that instantly makes you feel at ease. Confusing Campuhan Ridge walk - The Campuhan Ridge walk was not as expected, we were left at a starting point without a guide (got directions where to walk), and picked up at end point (still little confusing). Unclear what was the objective of this first walk. Remaining of the tour was a 10. Thank you.

A long and fun day in Bali - Our driver Naya is a great driver. He is friendly and courteous. This trip has a long ride. The traffic is horrible. We wished there are more information provided about the history of different local visited. Naya has a heavy accent - we cannot get a complete understanding of info presented. All in all it was a fun trip!
