• GBE Silver Class - In the tranquil village of Delodsema, silver is more than just art — it’s a way of life. Approximately 70% of the men here are silversmiths, and this craft is the backbone of the local economy. Growing up in a family of silversmiths inspired the operator to share this heritage through this activity, offering you the opportunity to experience the joy of creating your own jewelry with the assistance of local artisans.

Every instructor in the workshop is a local silversmith, and a portion of your contribution directly supports the community.

Your experience begins with a hotel pickup to the village workshop. You will be welcomed with Balinese coffee or tea and local snacks as you are introduced to the Balinese lifestyle and traditions. You will see sample jewelry and can share your own design ideas. Then, with guidance, you will craft your piece from start to finish — melting, shaping, and polishing silver into something truly personal. By the end, you will take home not just jewelry, but a piece of Bali’s soul.

The concept for this experience originated from a guest’s suggestion. They expressed interest in witnessing the creation of Balinese jewelry, prompting a visit to the family workshop. There, the process, home concept, and Balinese culture were explained, which they thoroughly enjoyed. They proposed developing an activity where travelers could craft their own jewelry while learning about local traditions and lifestyle. Thus, this experience was established.

The team consists of skilled, friendly, and passionate local silversmiths with over 15 years of expertise. As native Balinese who are fluent in English, they take pride in sharing not only their craft but also stories about their culture, history, and traditional house philosophy.

Additionally, some team members are professional tour guides, eager to assist in exploring more of Bali. They look forward to welcoming guests and sharing their world soon!
