Soul searching experience - Review for Amara Bali Family Tour; Dear Amara Bali Family Tour Team, My brother and I would like to say terima kasih (thank you) for the wonderful experience we had during the natural downhill cycling tour and Mt Batur visit. Everything was beautifully organised from beginning to end. Being collected by your driver, enjoying the breakfast and lunch provided, and cycling through the villages and rice fields made the whole day very special for both of us. We would especially like to thank Kedek, who was a very patient, gracious and informative host. His kindness and knowledge made the journey even more enjoyable, and we appreciated the way he shared the culture and spirit of Bali with us. We also truly enjoyed the nourishing meals that were prepared for us during the tour. Thank you again for taking such good care of us...🙏 Bali is a very special place, and experiences like this make it even more memorable. We will happily recommend Amara Bali Family Tour to friends who visit Bali in the future. Warm regards, Carlos and Alexie...🌄🏞⛰️

An Amazing Day in Ubud - WE LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCh GUYS. These people are amazing. I learned so much from them, and they were patient, kind, and incredibly respectful. I'm 63, and my 65-year-old husband, Kadek, our guide, treated us like his own parents. Honestly, I rarely write reviews like this before. But this time I have to because I had such an amazing experience beyond what we expected. Not only the cultural and natural experiences, but also the social life really touched my heart. I felt like part of their family. We hope this family business succeeds. We're sure it will because they're so amazing. We promise to recommend this family tour. Good luck, and we wish you all the best.

What an awesome day - What an amazing experience. Right from pickup to drop-off we had a wonderful time. Our first stop was for a delightful breakfast followed by a visit to a coffee plantation where we sampled both teas and coffees prepared in different ways. Exceptional and incredibly interesting. Next we travelled on to the volcano lookout, where we could easily see where lava had flowed down the side of the volcano into the caldera. Following this we travelled to our cycling start point. This included visiting a temple a family home and rice fields. We are both of an age where physical activity is no longer a strong point, but we were pleasantly surprised to find we spent most of the time braking! Huge shout out to Kadek for his explanations help and obvious delight in sharing his wealth of knowledge about his country.

Authentic insight into the real Bali - you will not be disappointed! - An authentic insight into rural Bali whilst taking a leisurely (mostly downhill) bike ride. We had a super guide Kadek, who was such fun, passionate about his culture and very informative. We took in several activities including visiting Mount Batur, a tea/coffee plantation, a local temple, a typical village house and the rice paddy fields, not rushed and very peaceful and enjoyable. We had a delicious breakfast and lunch and the bikes/helmets were well maintained. We're so glad we did this trip as it showed us the side if Bali not overrun with tourists.

A leisurely cycle through rural Bali - away from the crowds! - This was a truly delightful tour (approx 8 hours including pick-up/drop off) seeing the natural rural villages and beautiful scenery on our ride! Kadek is a really super guide who was informative about the local culture and traditions. He was safety aware and we were not rushed at all, he encouraged us to take photos and take our time exploring a local Balinese home where we were made to feel very welcome. Kadek speaks excellent English, has a great sense of humour and showed us a part of Bali that was peaceful and away from the usual tourist spots, which we really appreciated. There were several elements to the tour including visiting Mount Batur and its lovely views, tea/coffee tasting at a local plantation, delicious breakfast and lunch included, a stop at a local temple, a traditional home and an easy cycle through the rice paddy fields. Its all done at a leisurely pace and you will not be disappointed!!

a great experience cycling tour Ubud - If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Ubud, this is a great alternative for experiencing authentic Balinese life. You'll cycle through villages, numerous temples, and beautiful rice paddies. The ride isn't too strenuous—it's mostly downhill, and for most of the route you'll barely need to pedal.

Totally worth it - I actually didn't end up going as my kidneys got infected a few days before the cycling, but I'm leaving a 5 star review because of the kindness and care from the family who runs this tour. To be far from home and have someone send kind messages when I cancelled was really sweet. Really excited to try this tour next time.

wonderful! - We spent a wonderful day in Ubud. It rained a little, but not too much. This was one of my favorite experiences during my Bali vacation. I saw beautiful rural scenery and met local Balinese people. The cycling wasn't difficult, just downhill. Wayan, our guide, was very experienced. Breakfast and lunch were delicious.

Amazing Day Again in Ubud - This is the third time my family and I have taken this tour. The first time we took this tour, we received excellent service. Each time we return, the service gets better, and the team is very polite, friendly, and caring towards our family. First of all, I apologize for always forgetting to leave a review on Tripadvisor. We absolutely loved this tour. We have always enjoyed every trip with this company. I will definitely take this tour again. I highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic! More than a Bike Ride experience - We had a wonderful day and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We were amazed by Balinese village life. They work hard to support their families, and the area is far from the hustle and bustle of tourism. The cycling was very easy, just downhill, so you don't have to exert much effort. The food was delicious. Thank you, Amara Bali Family team. We will definitely do it again
