Great experience, well organised & so much fun! - Great experience, well organised & immense fun! Mr Merry picked us up right on time & took us off to the actual venue. There you can use a locker (50,000 cash deposit) you can change & shower there too. Safety hat & life jacket issued, followed by your paddle. You then jump into some open jeep type car & they take you to the start. Now, warning! There is about 300 uneven steps down, so just take your time with them! The waters were great because we've had so much rain (every cloud & all that) it was great fun & just 4 of us & our 'captain' At the end there is another 300 steep & uneven steps back up... You'll have earnt that beer! It was a first for me & we loved it. Not too scary. Mr Merry then dropped us off, on route back, in Ubud at our request & kindly dropped our bags at reception of our starting place, really was appreciated. Can't fault the experience

Great spot! - At first I thought this was a scam because they weren’t responding to my messages. The site doesn’t give you much info and neither do they, but I am glad I chose this company and will break it down for you here. You’re supposed to use WhatsApp to contact them and let them know where you’re staying- I recommend asking them what time they will pick you up as well- in my case, they were 15 minutes early. There’s usually a lot of traffic in Ubud, so they probably just lucked out and didn’t hit traffic. Bring some cash for renting a locker and tipping your guide. I don’t recall if we had to rent towels, but they do have a shower available and they provide you with lunch that is actually really good/filling. (I am yet to have gotten sick, so I assume safe to eat). It’s a bit of a walk down and up but nothing a normal person can’t handle and almost completely on stairs. I am slender but my cardio is crap and I still managed to do it in cheap flip flops. It’s also gorgeous and I’d prefer to see the country like that vs. being dropped straight into the water. I probably wouldn’t have a very small child or physically unable people try to do the walk. Most of the walk was in the shade, but we still had on sunblock on. They’ll take photos and videos of you and it’s hit or miss on how they look, but they do give you the option to buy them and see them prior to purchase. You can also buy a waterproof case for your phone and hope someone on the boat is willing to take your photo/video. Luckily, we had a guy with a waterproof phone holder who agreed to take photos of all of us and I bought the package since it was my daughter’s first time rafting. The guide was hilarious, the gear was fine, the food was good, the communication was mid, the route was amazing (December 2025- rainy season), so overall great experience. I did buy the package to see the volcano as well, but it was POURING rain so we couldn’t see much and were kinda wiped after the rafting anyhow.

Fun activity! - Great experience! We had fun 😁 Lunch after was very tasty and we could have also gluten and egg free option because of allergy. Our driver Bawa was very good, pick up and return was smooth.

Super awesome white water rafting - The white water rafting was awesome experience and all staff and driver were super helpful and friendly. It was strongly advised to try splash the other paddlers. The scenery was amazing and a few waterfalls. Would definitely do it again

So fun and such a smooth process - This was so fun! Everything went so smooth and it was the perfect first rafting experience for my kids. The pick up to the drop off was well organized and fun. The only thing was they took pictures along the way for us for purchase but then we never were offered the opportunity to look at them to see if we wanted to purchase them. Anyway it was a lot of fun!

It was nice, but very... - It was nice, but very easy and nothing like the images portrayed with lots of steep rapids, there were no steep rapids. We stopped for a long time at a small shop on the river, and if you’ve already eaten and don’t want crisps, cup noodles, or a Bintang, you’re left sitting there waiting for over 30 minutes. Lunch was at the end when returning to the Rapid Headquarters and consisted of rice and chicken that had clearly been sitting out for a long time. I didn’t eat it and went elsewhere for lunch instead. Pickup times weren’t well managed. I was collected 30 minutes late and then had to wait again for another couple, meaning only three of us went. If pickup had been on time, I would have been in a larger group with multiple boats, which looked much more fun. As expected, the water was brown and there was a lot of rubbish. The guide, however, was jovial and good company. Would I do it again or recommend it? Probably not.
