Like hiking into an Indiana Jones film - The pictures really don't do it justice. The Ghoufi Balconies are absolutely stunning, and the hike down into the valley and up to the ruined hotel on the other side was quite exhilarating, while the abandoned village build into the cliffs was like something from a classic adventure movie. Our driver and guide Nadjib was a delight and patiently helped us to improve our awful French and Arabic, as well as introducing us to the highlights and the history of this extraordinary place.

Great canyon and abandoned Berber town in Eastern Algeria - Ghoufi is a really amazing place and landscape all together. Hakim, the guide, and Haroune, the driver, were really good travel mates. Very kind and chill, and informative at times! The drive is a little long (around 4 hours to get there from Constantine), but the tour was very flexible for the most part (with a couple of short stops). It is one of the best tours and daytrips one can do in the eastern Algeria and Constantine. I totally recommend.
