Ghandruk - In the morning, the operator will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Siwai, followed by a trek to Ghandruk. The trail passes through the Modi River, authentic villages, and hills with the breathtaking valley of Annapurna.
Ghandruk village is a large Gurung settlement and a renowned village in the Annapurna region. Here, visitors can immerse themselves in the local Gurung culture, customs, museums, lifestyle, and enjoy stunning views of Annapurna South, Hiuchuli, Machhapuchre, Gangapurna, and Annapurna III. Ghandruk village is an ideal place to create unforgettable memories and is a highly recommended destination in Nepal. Overnight stay will be at Ghandruk.
Ghandruk to Upper Sinuwa (2345m)
Upper Sinuwa to Deurali (3700m)
Deurali - On the third day, after an overnight stay in Upper Sinuwa, the trail ascends as the air becomes cooler and fresher, leading to Annapurna Sanctuary. The path winds through beautiful places such as Bamboo, Dovan, and the Himalayas. The entire day involves walking through the enchanting bamboo and rhododendron forest with the Eden valley of the Modi River.
These locations are not villages but local guest houses, with gentle ascents to Himalaya Hotel, near Hinko Cave beneath Hiunchuli peak. Cross a glacier and moraine, then a small bridge to reach Deurali, the last lodge before Machhapuchare Base Camp. From here, vegetation and tree lines give way to alpine bushes and shrubs, as the trail climbs following the Modi River upstream to reach Machhapuchare Base Camp. Overnight stay at Deurali, which has 5 local guest houses.
Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m)
Annapurna Base Camp - On the fourth day, after breakfast, the trail ascends to Machhapuchhre Base Camp, situated at 3900m above sea level. Today, the climb is 730m to Annapurna Base Camp. The trail gradually ascends to ABC. A pleasant stop at MBC beneath the towering North Face of Machhapuchare, the Fish Tail peaks, as the walk heads uphill into Annapurna Sanctuary and the Base Camp. The journey continues on grassy uphill terrain reaching higher areas to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) with stunning views of Annapurna peaks encircling the sanctuary with Annapurna I.
After a short walk, reaching Annapurna Base Camp, a magnificent spot with a few lodges, offers breathtaking scenery of snowcapped peaks surrounding the base camp of Annapurna. Afternoon leisure time to enjoy the mountain views and glorious glaciers. Annapurna Base Camp is a delightful place to immerse in the beauty of the wonderful mountains.
Base Camp to Bamboo (2345m)
Bamboo to Jhinu Village (1700m)
Jhinu Danda - From here, a short steep ascent to KhuldiGhar, then downhill through the forest to reach the secluded spot of Sinuwa-Danda. From here, descend to Chomrong Khola. After crossing the bridge, climb briefly to Chomrong village for lunch. After Chomrong, another short ascent leads to the top of Chomrong ridge, as the last day’s walk descends to Jhinu-Danda.
Jhinu Danda is one of the most beautiful and popular places for Natural Hot Springs. Visitors can enjoy the natural hot spring located at the bank of the Modi River, a 10-minute walk from the hotel. There are four hot spring ponds, each with different water temperatures. Overnight stay at the beautiful Jhinu Danda village, enjoying a wonderful time with the natural hot spring.
Jhinu Village to Samrung Khola then Drive Back to Pokhara.
Pokhara Lakeside - After a refreshing adventure and the last day’s walk, a short downhill leads to a long suspension bridge to reach Samrung Khola. At Samrung Khola, a local jeep will be taken to Pokhara, a 4-hour drive. The road passes through Kimrung village, Syauli Bazaar, Birethati Nayapul, Kande, and Naudanda before reaching Pokhara. After completing the Annapurna Base Camp Trek, visitors can relax in Pokhara and stroll around Phewa Lake.
