Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park - After breakfast, embark on a tour of the vibrant metropolis of Ghana’s capital. The first stop is the W.E.B. Centre for Pan-African Culture. Dr. Dubois, a Pan-Africanist, accepted an invitation from Dr. Kwame Nkrumah (Ghana’s first President) to research and compile the Encyclopedia Africana. Enjoy a guided tour of this memorial center. Next, proceed to Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, with stops at attractions such as Independence Square and the Mausoleum. Continue to Osu Castle, which served as the administrative seat of the colonial governor and later became the seat of the Government of Ghana until the Jubilee House (current seat of government) was built. Conclude your tour with a visit to James Town, known as Old Accra.

ACCRA – CAPE COAST – ELMINA
Cape Coast Castle - Depart for the Central Region after breakfast. If the hustle and bustle of Accra affect your tour experience, you will find a calmer atmosphere as you enter a new region with rapid transformation. Make a brief stop at Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River Site, which features the river that served as the last bath for slaves before their overseas shipment. You will also see an Ancestral Graveyard at the site. Continue to Cape Coast Slave Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in 1653 by the Swedish and later taken over by the British, it is the second largest slave castle in Ghana and the most visited. Afterwards, head to your hotel for the night.

Elmina Castle - After a restful night, enjoy breakfast and begin a tour of this colonial community. Today’s tour offers both cultural and historical experiences. Explore Elmina, visiting notable places within the township. Visit the Elmina Slave Castle (St. George Castle), the largest and oldest slave castle in Ghana, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to a nearby fort, Fort St. Jago, located on a hilltop overlooking Elmina Township. Return to your hotel afterwards. Enjoy the rest of the day relaxing at your beachfront hotel.

Nzulezo Stilt Village Tour - After breakfast, depart for Beyin in the Western Region. Upon arrival, enjoy a canoe ride on the Amansari Lake to Nzulezu. The entire community of Nzulezu is built on the Amansari Lake. Experience a tour of this unique village. Afterwards, return to Beyin to visit Fort Appollonia, built by an English merchant. Continue to your hotel to relax after the day’s tour.

BUSUA – DIXCOVE – KAKUM NATIONAL PARK – ACCRA
Kakum National Park - After breakfast, depart for Dixcove, a nearby community, to tour another fort. Fort Metal Cross, originally Fort Dixcove, was a military structure in Dixcove. After touring this fort, head to Accra, making a detour to Kakum National Park. This protected rainforest area is home to endangered mammals such as forest elephants and monkeys. The canopy walkway, 30 meters above the ground, is the park’s most popular attraction. Alternatively, enjoy a nature walk through the forest with an experienced park guide. Continue to Accra after your tour.

Accra - Check out from your hotel to visit a shopping center in Accra. Stop at the Accra Arts Centre, a large market with various artifacts.
