Harmonious Population - Called the Street of Harmony (Pitt Street) due to the fact this street, constructed in the 18thC, has places of worship from several different denominations, indicative of the multi-religious and harmonious nature of the populace. In no particular order are St George Church (Anglican), Goddess of Mercy Temple (Taoist), Shri Mahamariamman temple (Hindu) and Kapitan Keling Mosque (Muslim). Each place has its own inimitable style and offer the visitor a glimpse.

George Town Street art Walking Tour - I had the pleasure of doing this tour yesterday and absolutely loved it. My tour guide was Philip and he was excellent. He has lived in Penang all his life and is passionate about showing people around. He told me that it is not just a job for him but something he loves to do. I actually live in Penang and have wanted to see the ever increasing street art that seems to be popping up everywhere. I did look online as I was going to do it on my own but I am so glad that I decided to do the private tour as I saw so many more than I would have been able to find on my own plus it was nice to have Philip for company. I highly recommend this company and will definitely be using them again. Thank you for a wonderful day.
