“Worth it not only for the food (though that was great too!) - This food tour took us to both restaurants and stands. It is well curated, with a variety of snacks, mains, and desserts from the different communities that make up George Town. Stops are quite nearby to each other, so walking is limited. As much as the food was good, the information that our guide Ken shared made it all the more enjoyable. Not only about the food, but also about life in Penang and its recent history and its communities. Well worth it!” - Reviewed on 2025-01-28

“Peggy contacted us in advance of the trip to let us know where to meet her. She was warm and friendly and told us lots of stories about Chinese Malay culture. The sanctuary was fantastic and Peggy brought some fruit to entice the orangutans close. We were enclosed within a metal cage so the orangutans could roam. Amazing animals and their stories were sad but their rehab was very heartwarming. Went for lunch back in Georgetown and Peggy recommended some local dishes for us to try! The tour around Georgetown was interesting and Peggy took some great photos of us. Would highly recommend this tour and Peggy” - Reviewed on 2025-02-09
