Our first stop was Singh’s Roti Shop, a local gem known for its mouthwatering curry dishes. As a former professional surfer, I’ve traveled the world and tasted many flavors, but the curry goat here was something special. The spices danced on my palate, and the sauces were so delightful that I couldn’t resist purchasing a few to take home. Nikki’s rapport with the staff was evident, as we were greeted with warm smiles and hugs, making us feel like part of the family.

Sipping and Savoring the Island’s Best

Next, we ventured to a local distillery, where the rich aroma of rum filled the air. As someone who appreciates the finer things in life, I was eager to sample the offerings. The dark rum and 7 fathoms were exquisite, each sip a testament to the craftsmanship of the island’s distillers. The rum cakes, especially the key lime, were a delightful treat, and the meat patties were equally satisfying.

Our journey continued to Vivo Cafe Restaurant, a scenic spot on the North West coast. Here, I indulged in a lion fish slider, a dish that was both unique and delicious. But it was the fried potatoes that stole the show, crispy and seasoned to perfection. As the tour drew to a close, we made our way to Gelato & Co. in Camana Bay. By this point, I was feeling quite full, but the promise of world-class gelato was too tempting to resist.
