Tour was AWESOME - really enjoyed it. Annalisa was fantastic - loved hanging out with her learning about Genoa and the amazing food!!
A great way to explore Genoa in the short time we had as a shore excursion. Silvia was great and the food was amazing.
Cannot recommend highly enough fabulous way to see a city , Marina is a superb guide who is informative, enthusiastic and couldn’t be more helpful The food was fabulous Probably the best city tour we have done
Marina was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about the city and very personable. I would recommend this to anyone. But please do yourself a favor and don't eat breakfast first or it will be hard to enjoy fully all the treats.
I contacted them last minute and they were more then happy to arrange a private tour for me. Silvia Was wonderful. I give them 100% satisfaction rate.
First of all Marina is a great guide and host. Knowledgeable about many subjects. Not only about Genua and food but also about history, art, culture ect. Her English is very good. We saw a lot of the city and had more than enough to eat and drink along the way. As in many places in Italy, Genua has her own specialties. There’s always a “why”.....and of course Marina was able to explain it. We tried quite a few in small local shops or restaurants. It was a feast to see the baker make a focaccia and a party to eat it.....! Thanks Marina we had a great time. I’m sure we will try all the goodies again.......but....not tonight!!!
The guide was very kind and gave us a nice tour of Genova. For future guests, it would be great to have a better sense of the quantity (quite a lot), types and frequency of stops being made and a general sense of how we'd be touring Genova--what we'd be watching out for, a bit more about the food history etc.

An in depth orientation into Genova /Ligurian food products and dishes. Delia, Our guide, was very knowledgeable and shared her insight on all things relating to the Culture Of Genova. Overall, a very informative and valuable tour. Jim and Francesca Van Zandt
Wonderful experience. Silvia was an expert guide sharing history and humor on the tour. The food was fabulous and we went back a few days later to have more focaccia. The variety of places we went to gave us a real taste of the gods of Genova. The fried fish to start was light and tasty and when one of our travelers expressed a dislike of fish she was given a vegetable fritter. The tarts were very good but would have preferred them not being heated in the microwave. The little restaurant with a different menu of the day was outstanding with a number of choices for changing daily, we would have gone back if they were open on the weekend. The tour was a great start to our stay in Genova! Definitely worth 5 stars! Thank you Silvia
We had a great time on this tour that we chose for our first full day in Genoa as we thought it would give a us a good grounding on the city and the places to eat and visit. Our guide Isabella was so very warm and generous with her knowledge of the food traditions and history of Genoa we were absolutely delighted with the tour and would thoroughly recommend it as a great way to start a holiday here. Not only was she very generous with her time and knowledge and had great suggestions for worthwhile atractions in the city and the wider area, but she also gave us great insight into contemporary matters and life in this lovely city. We thouroughly enjoyed the tour and thought it is was good value and well worthwhile, and in particular our wonderful guide Isabella who brought It all to life for us. 5 Stars.
Sylvia was great. We lost track of the number of restaurants we visited but each one had its own unique specialty. And Sylvia's knowledge of food and the region made it more interesting. The only sad thing is Italian food will never taste the same when I get home.
My wife and I went on the walking food tour with Silvia and it was a fantastic experience. She provided us with a ton of information about the city and their culinary traditions all while sampling some unbelievably delicious food. Definitely show up hungry because you will leave feeling stuffed. We couldn't recommend this tour enough.
We had a wonderful day with our guide... Isabella. She was very friendly and informative. We learned a lot about the food in the city along with many other Italy facts. The food stops were fabulous and everything we ate was delicious. We went to stops that I feel like we wouldn't have gone to if not on the tour. My advise to others is to make sure you do not have breakfast before your 11;30a tour. When they say it is a ton of food.... it really is!
