One of the best but watch out! - Really really enjoyed this tour. We did the tour including cable car and cog-train excursions. Was a rainy cloudy day with very poor visibility at the top but was still awesome and glad we went. Rain and fog are a spring normal as we understand. A couple things to beware of: with the cable tram you start at approximately 1500 feet and end up 30 minutes later at approximately 12,000 feet. That is a huge quick altitude change that can cause altitude sickness to some degree. As a 64 year old male, I experienced significant light-headedness and some visual disturbances so we didn't linger at the top. Other more serious symptoms of altitude sickness are headache and shortness of breath, and I didn't really have either of those, and the only immediate way to fix that is to depend, so we went back to the midpoint where all was totally fine. The cog-train goes about to the same altitude as the midpoint on the tram, so no problem there with altitude and the views were astounding. One more thing to be aware of, is that if you want to visit the ice caves , you take a small gondola from the chalet at the top of the train, and go down toward the glacier; however, because of climate change, you now need to descend 168 steps from the gondola to the caves and the hoof it back up. Would say that is at least moderate intensity physical requirements, beware. Overall, an incredible experience, and really glad to have done it.

Day trip to Chamonix and Mt. Blanc - Comfortable bus and good itinerary. Beautiful views is an understatement. The guide was good but communication regarding times and meeting points could have been better. Overall the trip was fantastic and memorable.

Lovely day in the alps - Antoine was such a fun guide for our day in the alps. He was funny, friendly, courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. We loved the views, enjoyed our time on the train, in the glacier and walking around the beautiful/quaint town of Chamonix.

This was fine - We were basically paying for transportation to and from Chamonix. It was fine. Staff at meeting point were a little disorganized (seems like they should know how many open seats are available on each bus?)

Mon Blanc - The experience is good but we were charged for the train even though the ticket sated it is covered. Felt like a Nickel and dime process.

Mistake is busses but still a good overall excursion - Terrible experience from Keytours (Switzerland). My friend and I bought separate experiences on accident. Upon arrival at the meeting location which was not clearly marked, I accidentally got on wrong bus (correct bus for my friend). My guide was aware but said to ride with them so I didn’t miss the excursion and once we got to Chamonix, he would speak to the other tour guide and get it all straightened out. He explained this type of thing has happened in the past and they typically work together to not leave customers behind. We drove to Chamonix which was the same place Keytours was going. Upon arrival the tour guide from the bus we drove on let the Keytours guide know that I was present and could join his group which he has no issue with however Karen at the office would not allow me to join the group. Rather they just pocketed my money abd refused to accommodate me stating I was a no show. I understand that yes I technically missed the ride up but having reunited with the group at the place the excursion was to take place where tickets for the train and lift weee to be purchased, I fail to understand why Karen REFUSED to allow any accommodation. Overall the excursion was great. I stayed with original tour guide who was awesome. Paid again for excursion and tipped. Because of this, I’d say go but definitely don’t use Keytours as your operator. Plenty of others provide a great experience.

Deceptive and unprofessional - I clearly stated, in writing, that I was only interested in a private tour. The booking was excepted and I reiterated that it would only be our group of four. When we arrived at the departure point for the tour, it was a large group/large bus tour. So, we did not take the tour. The tour provider acknowledged that my booking stated private tour/only my group of 4, but refused to refund my fee. I was always clear that I was only interested in a PRIVATE TOUR. I reached out to them more than once before the tour and they had multiple opportunities to state that it would not be a private tour. Had they done so, not only would I have cancelled but I could have found another tour to fill this day.
