Listen to Dr Knox, he’s really interesting 😉 - Loved the late night tour and had an excellent guide, Dr Knox. It’s great for people that want an interesting and different history than what you find in museums. Dr Knox broke the ice with the group straight away and always had us laughing. I wish I could do it again without trying to anticipate jump scares that never happened.

Absolute must do when in Edinburgh!! Hope for Dr Knox as your guide!! - The paranormal ghost tour was lead by the great Dr Robert Knox who was absolutely incredible! Kept us interested and interacted with us as a group in an incredibly humorous and fun way. Absolutely loved this and would definitely recommend to anybody looking for something to do in Edinburgh on a cold and dark evening! £21 each was an absolute bargain for what you experience in the 1 hour 15 minutes(there or there abouts) that you’re walking on the tour!! One of the group even fell in love with the fantastic Dr. Knox!!

Dr. Knox and the Extreme Paranormal Tour. - Dr. Robert Knox on the Extreme Paranormal tour was absolutely incredible. Kept the fun and knowledge as a group whilst asking individual questions. The price was relatively cheap and very good value for money. The length of the tour was about an hour and it was full of excitement and a very good experience. All round, I would highly recommend this to anybody, especially with Dr. Knox. Fun, exciting and excellent.

Well I never knew that. Help my sides are hurting from laughing so much. All because of James. - Was in Edinburgh for a few days and has i hadn't done a tour of Edinburgh in along time I thought I would do the extreme paranormal tour. So 9pm Sunday night waiting for our guide. Then he appeared James Douglas looking rough and ragged in his raggy outfit in character of the James Douglas he was portraying. Walk was not to start until 9.15pm but James started chatting straight away asking where people were from and having a bit fun about the places people were from. This was in a fun way and also revealing some of the historic ties to Edinburgh and Scotland. Then it was time to go we were off for a tour of the back streets alley ways of Edinburgh. James painting a picture of how Edinburgh would have been in the past. Revealing some of the gory tales and events from the history of Edinburgh. James interacting with all the group as we walked around bringing people into the story he was sharing. We went to greyfrairs graveyard and the story of the man whose tomb is in the graveyard. And then we went to the underground part of the tour. Needles to say 28 people left after enjoying a great tour. ( And some in the beginning were wondering why they had even came on the walk.) But all of them left totally enjoying a great walk around the city of Edinburgh. Thank you again James for a great tour. 10/10 for a great night.

Neither extreme nor paranormal - We did the “Extreme Paranormal Ghost Tour” and I put a star because you can’t help it. We came to think that we had been put in another group because neither “extreme” nor “paranormal”, they tell you 4 historical facts (little to do with ghosts) in a comical way, visits Greyfriars at night quite quickly and end up in the vaults (basically a hall characterized period) and an underground corridor with dolls. The nefarious explanation and the very expensive price for the little it offers you. As you pay in advance the guide does not try at all. This particular tour is only in English - although that was not the problem. A scam for tourists.
