The session will start with crafting fresh, buttery scones from scratch. As they bake, participants will prepare traditional cucumber sandwiches and engage in conversations about the history and unique aspects of British teatime traditions. The afternoon will conclude with savoring the delicious creations over tea, accompanied by a slice of homemade cake.
Sharing and hosting food has always been a passion, and now, as a chef-in-training, the hope is that you will find this experience delightful.
This is a relaxed, interactive class — no baking experience is necessary!

We recently attended a... - We recently attended a wonderful scone-making class with Olivia, and it was such a delightful experience from start to finish. Olivia was a fantastic instructor—patient, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about baking. She walked us through each step of the process, sharing helpful tips that made it easy to create light, buttery, perfectly baked scones.
As if the scones weren’t enough, we also enjoyed the cucumber sandwiches that we created that added a lovely touch to the afternoon. It truly felt like a proper tea experience.
What made the class even more special was the warm, relaxed atmosphere. Between mixing dough and enjoying the treats, the group fell into delightful conversations about the weather, schooling, and even future travel plans. It felt less like a class and more like a gathering of friends who simply happened to be learning how to bake together.
I left with delicious scones, new baking skills, and a very pleasant afternoon to remember. Highly recommend Olivia’s class to anyone who enjoys good food, great company, and learning something new.

Stellar afternoon!! - We had a delightful time with Olivia, and her other guests, she was an easy conversationalist and got us all chatting amongst ourselves. Her tips and encouragement were first rate, her immaculate kitchen was well suited to hosting a small class, and she had everything ready for us to succeed. Her explanation of tea traditions generated easy questions and conversation, and the whole experience made me feel I had a made several new friends, and had a “inside resource” for enjoying my stay in London: cookbook and restaurant recommendations, suggestions for exhibits at museums, etc. Our afternoon was a lovely new way to enjoy England as a visitor, and not be doing a “typical tourist” event. It would be great for families with teenagers, we were husband (who adores baked goods but does very little baking) and wife. We all created delicious scones and tea sandwiches and then had a tea party at a table beautifully decorated and ready for us to sit and enjoy the fruit of our labor. Wonderful experience!!

A lovely mother and daughter afternoon - My daughter and I had a lovely afternoon learning how to make scones followed by an afternoon tea chatting with Olivia. We will definitely recommend this event to our friends. Thank you

Very cool activity - On our trip to London we wanted to do something active and authentic. That's how we ended up with Olivia. We were there with 2 other couples. We received a warm welcome, and a very spontaneous and pleasant afternoon of baking and conversation. The trip to London was great, and this activity was a highlight of it.

Wonderful experience - What an amazing experience. Baking scones with Olivia in her beautiful home was one of the highlights of our trip. My adult daughter and I were joined by another couple. After baking , we sat and enjoyed our scones and tea sandwiches with a pot of tea and wonderful conversation. Highly recommend

Lovely scone baking and afternoon tea experience - My sister had arranged for this activity during our trip to London last weekend. My mum, sister and myself had a great time with Olivia, who welcomed us into her lovely home and had prepared a great baking session and afternoon tea.
Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about scone baking whilst spending a lovely afternoon with Olivia

Scones, Smiles, and the Sweetest Afternoon with Olivia - My mother and I had such a wonderful time at this baking experience and a huge part of that was thanks to our host Olivia. We were embarrassingly almost half an hour late due to my poor time management skills yet Olivia along with the other guests was incredibly gracious and welcoming when we arrived. She immediately put us at ease and made us feel like we had not missed a thing.
The baking instruction was clear, fun, and delicious and we learned so many helpful tips for making perfect scones. But just as memorable was the conversation. Olivia created such a warm and relaxed environment that it felt like spending an afternoon with friends. The food was fantastic, the tea was lovely, and the entire experience was one of the most charming highlights of our trip.
We highly recommend this experience especially with Olivia as your host!
