What You Will Do

  • Start off just outside the town of Gardiner, known as the main entrance to Yellowstone National Park, where you can check out all sorts of museums and exhibits
  • Get in the water right where the Gardiner River meets the Yellowstone River, the longest free flowing river in the continental U.S.
  • Paddle hard through class II-III rapids and marvel at bountiful banks full of wildlife on the second half of the journey
  • Follow your experienced guide as they give you helpful tips for how to paddle and manage the raft, as well as making sure you see the best of the Yellowstone River

Additional Information

  • Dress appropriately for the time of the year. Bring a swimsuit or a pair of shorts to wear under your wetsuit.
