Scenic Rafting Couple - May 2025 - My husband and I had an amazing time on the Scenic Tour down the Yellowstone River. Our guide, Josh, was friendly, relaxed, prepared, and knowledgeable. We were fortunate to have a guest appearance from Eddie, the black Labrador dog, whose swimming skills in the river are impressive! Josh safely navigated the river while we enjoyed not rowing. It went from very hot, then cold, with May snowmelt making the river full and fast. Josh helped spot Osprey and a nest full of baby birds. He also helped outfit us in Wild West Rafting provided water shoes and spray jackets, we ended up needing both. This company also accepted us as a single couple without having to have a party of 4 or more. They were great to work with and all the paperwork was done online and in advance. I’m also glad we bought the photo package since they could be airdropped onsite.

Great fun. Josh was... - Great fun. Josh was awesome He went out of his way to be helpful. He was knowledgeable about the river and pointed out a number of interesting things along the way. I would request Josh every time

Great trip! - Had a great time on our scenic trip on the Yellowstone River. Our guide was excellent and very skilled. He knew so much about the river and the area as we floated along. Would recommend.

Fun float trip - Great addition to our girls trip. Jake was a fun guide. The facility was first rate. We highly recommend this event.

Yellowstone float trip - Brandon did a great job and was very entertaining. Kept up conversation going with my talkative sister in law. Scenery was amazing and the float trip was wonderful

Wild West Rafting...for a wild time! - Wonderful company, great float down the river with our awesome guide Kaelie. We saw blad eagles, pronghorn sheep, osprey and elk. Cant wait to do it again

Riley is the best river guide! - We took the relaxing river trip, Riley was the best river guide we could have asked for, and we had an amazing time. Everything was timely, safe, and a beautiful trip.

Great Memory - This was an amazing experience. Kara was a fabulous quide and helped make this a memorable experience. I will definitely recommend this to anyone else interested in such an experience.

Don't miss this experience - Great experience! Staff are super friendly and most hail from across the country (much like the cross section of people who visit our National Parks) Had a great float and would definitely do it again!

Scenic float for first timers - Perfect for my kids who had never done any rafting before and were a bit worried about falling in. Guide was very chatty and informative. I had no issues with the safety, or equipment but I’m no expert. I did have an issue with taking the board down from the bus to the water. They ask everyone to pitch in, but be warned they go fast, I have an old ankle injury and was struggling, I wouldn’t have helped if I’d known how speedy they go downhill along the track. Also I had paid for the photos at the time of booking. One of the other families purchased the photos after the trip and was given a $10 discount compared to what I had paid in advance, which felt a bit unfair. Overall a good experience for first time rafters.
