AMAZING tour guide- you NEED to book Ollie! - I was recommend to book with Ollie from his family member. I did, and it was one of the best decisions we made in Ireland! Firstly, communication with Ollie was timely and he was so willing to accommodate what we wanted to do. He drove all the way to Dublin to pick us up, drove us to Doolin for the Cliffs of Moher, and then took us to Galway all in one day. Ollie was so adaptable and had so many options available for us, as we had an accidental ankle sprain a few days before and couldn’t do the entire hike. We still got the entire experience and had some beautiful views. I didn’t want to leave the cliffs- they were truly magical. Ollie then recommended the most DELICIOUS pub lunch at Gus O’Connors Pub in Doolin. We then stopped in Galway and got to see the Christmas markets there. Ollie was so kind, so thoughtful, and so fun! He was a great and knowledgeable about the area, Irish pop culture, and answered general questions we had. He also really got to know us and joked with us, and he felt like part of the family by the end of the day. I truly cannot say enough great things about Ollie. He is willing to answer any questions and will adjust the tours to your wishes as much as possible. You also need to put the cliffs of moher on your list- a must see!

Great Tour. Must Do! - Wonderful experience from start to finish. Phillip was the tour guide and he was the perfect docent. We rode out to the Cliffs from Galway, and his commentary about Galway, Ireland and the surrounding countryside was informative and passionate. We stopped in a small town, Kinvarra, that had a great little coffee shop on the harbor. We met up with the rest of the group in Doolin, 12 in all. The hike was about 5-6 miles from Doolin, and a taxi was at the top to bring us down. There was an option to walk back without a guide if one wanted. On the way up, Phillip was very informative about the history and future of the Cliffs, and was very on point regarding safety first. He made a worthwhile trip even more worthwhile. The sights and sounds were fantastic. A must do in Galway.

A most authentic experience! - Although I was part of a group tour, I “did my own thing” on one of the days to do a hiking tour of the Cliffs of Moher. We were transported from Galway to Doolin in a passenger van, stopping for a short break in a small town along the way. In Doolin, we met up with Phil and Vince who drove us up to a spot on the Cliffs before you get to the Visitor Center. Phil and Vince are actually 2 farmers whose families have been in the community for generations. Years ago, Phil convinced 27 of his neighbors to provide access to their land and allow him to create a trail along the edge of the cliffs (no small feat!). Having grown up and spent their entire lives there, they know where they are going and balance maximizing the experience with a keen eye on maintaining your safety. They are familiar with all of the best viewing spots and will also keep you entertained with local history and personal stories along the way. You will actually be walking along active farmland with visits from their cows and horses. The horses in particular are quite friendly and you might even have a chance to pat them. This is a small group tour that oozed with authenticity. A couple of notes. Make sure you are very clear on the pickup location at the Galway Cathedral. The “front door” may not be what you might think it is. I would also highly recommend hiking boots. At minimum, some sections are very muddy from water spraying upwards from the ocean along the cliffs, even when most of the trail is dry. This experience was definitely one of the highlights of my trip!

My husband and I had the... - My husband and I had the BEST time on this tour! Phil was an amazing tour guide and truly made all my Ireland dreams come true. We were picked up in Galway and headed down to Doolin, where we started the hike. The hike was the best way to experience the Cliffs of Moher. After the hike, we did some shopping in Doolin, then Phil took us to one of his favorite restaurants for lunch on our way back to Galway. Such a special day and a highlight of the trip - would recommend to anyone!

Cliffs of Moher hike with Eleanor - What a beautiful hike! Phil drove us from Galway to Doolan and back at the end of the day and gave us great information along the way. The drive is about one and a half hours each way. We were so happy to be driven instead of making the drive ourselves and also loved the small van and group experience and not a huge tour bus! After arriving in Doolin, Phil then took a group to the Inisheer and Eleanor joined us for the Cliffs of Moher hike. The hike was absolutely fabulous, breathtaking views! We had a variety of weather conditions, rain and high winds but enjoyed some sunshine for a good part of the tour. The hiking was about 5 miles. Eleanor was a great guide and gave us lots of information and history about the cliffs and area. We love that this hike was actually along the cliffs. Most of the big tour buses just drive to the visitor's center. We truly were able to walk along the cliffs and take in the incredible beauty of the area. Thank you for an amazing day, Elanor and Phil! We love Ollie's tours!

Intimate and informative walking tour of the Cliffs of Moher - This was a great tour led by Sophia. We walked along the Cliffs of Moher as a small group (6 people) and got to learn about the region’s history. Sophia was very informative. We walked for 3 hours and then had lunch at a local seafood restaurant. Everyone from Ollie’s tours is very kind, knowledgeable and chill.

Was a CRAIC!!! - The weather was perfect, the group was awesome but it was Phil that made it great. He was an amazing guide, driver and dinner host. If you are in Galloway, do the drive with Phil. You will have nice hike up the Cliffs and a rewarding dinner with Phil. Just a warning...if the weather is challenging get yourself some good clothes and shoes.

Not to miss experience! - An outstanding experience! Our guide, Phil, was knowledgeable, fun, and a joy of a guy. He gives you the sights that are better than any picture will do it justice and all the while gives you the rich history, local stories of the cliffs and area. He caters the experience to what you’d like to do. We had a blast! This is way better than just stopping at the visitor center.

Best tour of our mother/daughter trip to Ireland! - From start to finish the day was fabulous. This was one, if not our favorite day of vacation! Dean and Simon were both great; very knowledgeabe, friendly, and funny. The group size was perfect and Simon did a wonderful job of keeping everyone included and close together as we had a wide ranged of ages within our group (23 to 82). The time in Doolin was just as nice as the hike. O'Connor's Pub served up the most delicious chicken sandwich and chips. Along with an outstanding irish coffee. I look forward to returning to Galway and rebooking this tour so my other family members can enjoy it too.

Excellent excursion - The guides and overall experience are excellent. It is a very popular site in Ireland but this is a highly personalized tour and doesn’t make you feel like like you’ve checked the box.
