Very enjoyable time spent in Gavleston! - As part of a birthday getaway, hubs really enjoyed his surprise to drive this around Galveston! As I purchased through TripAdvisor, we had to sign waivers in person so plan on getting there early to get the information and forms signed before your rental start time. But we really enjoyed it. We were handed a map of streets NOT to drive on, as well as provided a QR code on the vehicle of sites to see and tours we could try if we wanted. Being familiar with some of Galveston, it was fun to not only see familiar sites, but also part of the old town that I didn't know about. We got the 3 hour tour, and if we had a better mind of how to spend the time, I would say now to get a longer rental and check out some of the places listed. But all in all, he had a great time driving and giving this a go!

So much fun !!!!!!!!!! - We rented two 5 seaters and explored the island. We had a blast! These carts are very comfortable and easy to drive.

Fun way to see Galveston. - The cars were a fun way to get around the historic district and see a bit of Galveston. The Carriage House staff were very friendly.

Great historical town - What a great way to see old town Galveston! The owner of the company was so helpful on where to drive and park to walk around downtown. Drove along ocean blvd as well no problem. Definitely a great experience.

Galveston City tour in a Replica 1908 Model-T Electric vehicle. - We took a two hour tour of downtown Galveston, Architecture and History with Gin. There were other tour themes, but this one suited us. At the time, other tours were not operating, but this company turned out very enjoyable. We phoned them in the morning and set the tour up in the afternoon. Gin drove the Replica 1908 Model-T electric car and took us on an informative ride around Galveston. The replicas come in various sizes and we picked out one appropriate for a couple, but they have larger ones for families, We are from Arizona and decided to spend two days in Galveston after a Western Caribbean cruise. I am a volunteer tour guide for a museum in Arizona and appreciate a knowledgeable tour guide. It was the highlight of our day.

Great way to tour Galveston - The entire process was extremely easy and stress free. The owner was friendly and very knowledgable on the history of Galveston. This was the perfect way for our group of seniors to see the historical sites of the beautiful city of Galveston. Will definately do this again next time we're in Texas.

Spooky, fun evening - Took the ghosts in the graveyard tour. Gin was our tour guide. She was fun, friendly, knowledgeable and a GREAT storyteller. The replica 1908 model T electric golf cart was a fun way to tour the city. I highly recommend the tour and look forward to doing it again.

We slipped through the cracks but they made it work! - We booked this prior to getting on a cruise and had limited access to email. When we got off the cruise, we discovered that the company had an offsite private event and would not be open. Our reservation should not have made it through the system; However, it was and to their credit Carriage Haus Rentals made it work. The gentleman who checked us in was loading carts up for the private event and was going to wait for us. We were so happy they did this.
Mom has COPD and is on portable oxygen, this was the perfect way to take her and the group around Galveston to see the sites. All six of us had a great time riding around, honking the horn and waving back at the people waving to us.
I would highly recommend this to any one thinking about doing it. The staff were great and the experience was definitely one of a kind. We will be doing this again if in Galveston.

Best Ghost Guide in Galveston! - Jin was an excellent guide! She has so many stories and she has such a great sense of humor when telling them. Not only did we hear ghost stories but we also learned history of Galveston when we drove through the streets with these absolutely beautiful houses, of which some are definitely haunted. The electric car was beautiful, and new, an absolute ball of fun to ride around. Thanks Jin!
