A Wonderful Experience - If anyone is looking for an insight into Galveston's gilded age, then this tour is a must. Our guide Gin was a fund of information, all delivered in a pleasant and light hearted manner. We were on a port day on a back to back cruise and the port was overwhelmed and we were slightly late because we had to wait nearly an hour and a half for a taxi. Not only did Gin wait for us but her husband was on hand too to help us (my wife is wheelchair bound). We criss-crossed the old streets of Galveston,taking in stories of the various buildings and their inhabitants - magical. At the end Gin and AJ not only called a taxi (we are in our 70s and don't do things like Uber)for us but made sure we got back to the cruise port safely. A charming couple!

Worth every penny and then some - Enthralling. Tour Guide Gin was an incredible resource and story teller. We’ve been coming to Galveston for years but had no idea about the history of use buildings until now. Grateful to her and Carriage House for the experience.

Awesome Architecture Tour - This tour with Gin was so awesome! She knew so much about the local history and architecture. We had a fun afternoon driving around in our pink Model T golf cart.

best way to see all the historical buildings! Save your feet and cover more ground. - Despite decades of touring Galveston, we all four enjoyed this tour. We learned a lot on this tour, the guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. You don’t go inside the properties, but you can really get a good view and learn a lot about Galveston & the area.

Fun tour - This was a fun and informative tour! Jen knows her stuff, she was super friendly and eager to share Galveston’s history with us. The houses are beautiful. The only negative is the ride is quite bumpy and if you are prone to motion sickness it might be a little rough. I definitely recommend it though!

Fun but bumpy tour! - Bring cushions for the ride. It’s bumpy and gets painful after a while. Other than that it was a great tour. Our guide was animated, funny and very informative.
