Great tour - I lived in Houston my whole life and didn’t know anything about Galveston. We came to Galveston for the weekend to celebrate my wife’s birthday and she’s a history buff and she truly loved it! I was very impressed how knowledgeable our tour guide was! It was a very interesting experience and I can honestly say it was worth it!

Good historical overview - Our guide provided some really interesting history of Galveston and inspired us to look deeper in to Galveston history by watching a documentary. The amount of information and speed of the tour were just right.

Great History - Noelle was very knowledgable regarding the history of the area and its inhabitants. We spent a lot of our time learning about the Red Light district and the people that lived there. Multiple buildings had been a part of the district that she pointed out. The sun had gone down which helped create the ambience. I would do it again.

We learned a lot! - We had Noelle as our tour guide and she was great. She was very knowledgeable, but also passionate about the subject matters. It was just my me and my husband for our tour, and she gave us the option to tailor our tour to specific subjects, but we asked her to just tell us what she thought was interesting. She included a little bit about all kinds of subjects; ghost stories, stories about the mafia, gambling, lots of info on the “worlds oldest profession”, and even really interesting info about the architecture of the buildings that were built for these purposes and how to spot them as some are still standing. I found it interesting as I’ve been coming down to Galveston my whole life, but never knew anything about these subjects. Highly recommended if you want to do something a little different. Oh, and the meeting location is one or two doors down from a daiquiri place. We each had one before the tour and they were delicious and the staff was friendly! Stop in to see them before or after the tour!
