The “experience” involves active participation in melting precious metals, gauging, soldering, designing, hammering, embedding gems, and smoothing and polishing, all integral to jewelry making. Participants will become acquainted with traditional tools and techniques used in the craft.
Additionally, there is the opportunity to:
- Handle and inspect both rough and polished gems, including precious and semi-precious stones from local mines.
