Arba Minch - Dorze

Dorze Village - Upon arrival at Arba Minch airport or hotel, you will embark on a scenic drive up the mountains to Dorze village, known as the home of Ethiopia’s weavers. Enjoy a walking tour where you can explore traditional bamboo houses, learn to make local bread from the false banana tree, visit the market, observe women spinners, and witness the renowned Dorze weavers. Spend the night at Dorze Lodge, famous for its breathtaking views of the two Rift Valley lakes. After dinner, relax by the campfire and enjoy local singing and dancing.

Dorze - Lake Chamo and Nechisar National Park (Arba Minch)

Chamo Lake - After witnessing the sunrise, drive to Arba Minch and take a motorboat across Lake Chamo to explore Nechisar National Park. Enjoy a leisurely hike across the savannah to see zebras, gazelles, and various wildlife. Arba Minch - Konso - Turmi

Konso - Travel to Konso, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Turmi - Omorate - Dassanech Tribe - Hamer Village

Omorate - Journey to Omorate, located on the Omo River, which is as deep into the Omo Valley as one can go without entering Kenya. Cross the river to visit Ethiopia’s southernmost tribe, the Dassanech. Afterwards, travel to Jinka, situated in the hills above Mago National Park and the capital of the Omo Valley. Visit the South-Omo Museum & Research Centre, which features fascinating exhibitions. Stay overnight in an Eco lodge.

Nyangatom Tribes - Bana Market - Jinka

Jinka - Visit the Nyangatom Tribe, who reside on the border with South Sudan and are considered one of the wealthiest and most prosperous tribes. Their vast lands allow them to graze numerous cattle, and unlike other tribes, the men hunt crocodiles using harpoons and local canoes. They are known as formidable and fierce warriors. Drive to Key Afar to experience the colorful Bana Market, then stay overnight in Jinka.

Mago National Park - Mursi Tribe - Jinka

Mago National Park - Travel through Mago National Park to visit the Mursi tribe, famous for their distinctive lip plates. After lunch, you will be taken to Jinka airport for your flight to Addis Ababa.
