I wish I had more time! It was a great experience and much different than I expected. Why so long before I can pickup my piece???
The place was nice and inviting and most of all Bree was an excellent teacher. I'll be coming back for more classes. Can't speak of this place highly enough.
Bree gave great instruction and the vibe was fun and welcoming
Bree was fantastic! Just the right amount of guidance and leaving us to do our own thing.
Bree is a wonderful guide and mentor in fused glass as well as a very caring person.
Bree is a great teacher and fun to be around. The Clayground environment is low key and fun- I'll be back!
Absolutely enjoyable afternoon with Bree! Excellent teaching without being overbearing. Looking forward to future classes
Bree was ahhhhh-mazzzzz-ballllzzzz!!! I will definitely visit again, and very soon!
I loved it. Sam was a great teacher. Very supportive and instructive on how to use the tools
Bree was a great teacher. She was friendly and knowledgeable and very helpful whenever we needed help. Glass fusing was so much fun and is definitely something I would do again.
Fun class. Bree was great. Can’t wait to try it again. Thanks.
It was my first time working with glass but Bree is amazing teacher. I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back for other classes.
We received in depth instructions and then were left to create! Time flew!
Loved the class and loved Bree.
Bree is awesome!
Everyone is really nice and friendly. I did the pottery and glass class. I really loved how they let us come back to glaze our own pieces the way we wanted for the pottery class. I also liked how Bree had everyone in the glass class try all the techniques before we started. It made me more comfortable when it came time to make the piece. I also loved how many things you could make in the glass class. I'll definitely be back for both. Thanks!
Had a wonderful time! Super welcoming place. Everyone who works there is so friendly. They were beyond patient and did a great job of not only teaching us alot, but also encouraging us. Will definitely go back again.
We had a great time. Bree talked us through an intimidating learning curve and made it so easy.
This was our first time in the fused glass class. It was great, Bree was very informative with the process. She showed us how to use the tools and cut the glass then had us try ourselves. I also like the fact that you didn't have one template to follow that you were allowed to be creative yourself. She also had examples if you wanted to look at. Overall, a great and fun outing.
This was my first time here but certainly not my last. My experience was beyond what I expected. I had so much fun learning this beautiful art and the instructor was so knowledgeable and funny. This truly was an experience that I highly recommend for everyone and I just can’t wait to be back and do this again.
Lots of fun and Bree was very informative and helpful. I will get hooked on this, I am sure!
Bree was wonderful! We did the single class, I’d love to do it again because the possibilities are endless!
My friends and I had such a wonderful time working on fused glass projects at ClayGround Studio in Ellicott City. We particularly appreciated the generous amount of time we were given to work on our projects, the great selection of colors and styles of glass to choose from, and the very pleasant and helpful staff. We can't wait to go again!
It was great having a personalized lesson about how to use the glass cutting tools and materials. We loved having the time to get inspired by artists in the studio and samples of artwork before starting our projects.
I wasn’t sure what to expect or if I was going to like working with glass but I had a blast! I ended up making small jewelry cabachons out of bits and pieces of glass in the left over bins. The staff were very helpful when we needed help and stayed out of the way when we got rolling. I can’t wait to go back for my second fused glass class!
I really enjoyed the class, and appreciated Bree's clear instruction and how helpful she was when I had questions. I hope to come back again!
Fun. Great tools and material selection.
My 84 year old onmother and sister were visiting from NC and wanted to do a fused glass class. We are so enthralled by the whole atmosphere at the Clayground! It's a very peaceful and relaxing place to be creative. Bree is wonderful and we will definitely be back!!
We had an absolute blast with Bree learning about glass fusing. It was a great girls day out - birthday celebration. Each of us created a beautiful unique glass plate that we will cherish with fun memories. And Bree is so warm and welcoming and offers a safe space to have fun and put work and life outside the studio. She provides all of the instruction, tools and supplies - and great background music - and you just enjoy a few hours of playtime. You can even bring in your own food and beverages. We highly recommend ClayGround Studio - and we'll be back again and again. Thanks! Debi
Class was fun and relaxing all the while educational. Will do it again soon.
Bree was a great instructor and it was a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
Could have stayed all day! Can't wait to come back!
I felt that it was a good introduction to glass fusion. Learned how to use the basic tools: cutter, breaker, nippers, grinders. Had choices of what to do -square or rectangular trivet, bowl or hanging piece, night lights or jewelry. We all didn't have to do the same project. We got to work with frit, noodles and glass pieces The teacher was very attentive
