Lots of fun and Bree was very informative and helpful. I will get hooked on this, I am sure!
Bree was wonderful! We did the single class, I’d love to do it again because the possibilities are endless!
My friends and I had such a wonderful time working on fused glass projects at ClayGround Studio in Ellicott City. We particularly appreciated the generous amount of time we were given to work on our projects, the great selection of colors and styles of glass to choose from, and the very pleasant and helpful staff. We can't wait to go again!
It was great having a personalized lesson about how to use the glass cutting tools and materials. We loved having the time to get inspired by artists in the studio and samples of artwork before starting our projects.
I wasn’t sure what to expect or if I was going to like working with glass but I had a blast! I ended up making small jewelry cabachons out of bits and pieces of glass in the left over bins. The staff were very helpful when we needed help and stayed out of the way when we got rolling. I can’t wait to go back for my second fused glass class!
I really enjoyed the class, and appreciated Bree's clear instruction and how helpful she was when I had questions. I hope to come back again!
Fun. Great tools and material selection.
My 84 year old onmother and sister were visiting from NC and wanted to do a fused glass class. We are so enthralled by the whole atmosphere at the Clayground! It's a very peaceful and relaxing place to be creative. Bree is wonderful and we will definitely be back!!
We had an absolute blast with Bree learning about glass fusing. It was a great girls day out - birthday celebration. Each of us created a beautiful unique glass plate that we will cherish with fun memories. And Bree is so warm and welcoming and offers a safe space to have fun and put work and life outside the studio. She provides all of the instruction, tools and supplies - and great background music - and you just enjoy a few hours of playtime. You can even bring in your own food and beverages. We highly recommend ClayGround Studio - and we'll be back again and again. Thanks! Debi
Class was fun and relaxing all the while educational. Will do it again soon.
Bree was a great instructor and it was a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
Could have stayed all day! Can't wait to come back!
I felt that it was a good introduction to glass fusion. Learned how to use the basic tools: cutter, breaker, nippers, grinders. Had choices of what to do -square or rectangular trivet, bowl or hanging piece, night lights or jewelry. We all didn't have to do the same project. We got to work with frit, noodles and glass pieces The teacher was very attentive
I have been to the clayground for two different classes and I am never disappointed. Great community feel. I am not an artist but I enjoy it and they never make me feel unworthy or weird. I love going there.

The atmosphere in rhe shop was very inviting. Bree was most attentive to any questions we had. We appreciated being able to take our time and work on our projects. It was a wonderful date for the hubby and myself. Thank you Clayground.
Loved the class and love Bre the instructor! We highly recommend!
What a fun place to learn something new! The atmosphere is warm, friendly and a whole lot of fun. The people? They are amazingly funny, helpful and so creative. We'll definitely be going back for more.
I really enjoyed the class, the fact that everything was provided, the free range, guidance, and just simple fun. I have worked with glass before, however it was creating mosaics. This class taught me something new and Inhope to be back with others soon.
I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was very fun and even though I'm not artistic, I was very happy with my piece! Great instructions and samples.
Bree is very warm and welcoming. We were given time to create without being rushed and Bree was there to help when needed. Great experience.
Fun teacher. Lovely space. Good value. Unique way to spend quality time with friends.
The clayground is one of our favorite family spots. We have varying artistic abilities but always leave feeling positive about our accomplishments. The instructors are knowledgeable and caring. Our family highly recommends the clayground!
We had so much fun at our class. The instructor provided all the details and guidance we needed and then we were able to work on our projects. The instructor checked in with us just the right amount and asked some questions to help us figure out what direction we wanted to go in. I consider myself creative and not artistic, and I thought this class was perfect for me. We spent a few hours there and the atmosphere was relaxed and supportive. I would highly recommend this as something creative and unique to do. I also plan to go back and may try the Pottery class.
Had a great time. Good first class for a beginner. Instructor very patient and was of great assistance.
I had a great time creating art at our fused glass class! The entire experience was both fun and informative. A great way to relax and let your creative juices flow.
We really enjoyed the glass fusing. Bree gave us enough information on how and let us get creative. Great mother-daughter bonding.
Had a great time. Plenty of freedom and encouragement to create. York was cute.
When I contacted them by email they responded quickly and Bree is beyond fantastic! She’s positive, helpful and a real hoot to be around.

Our instructor Brew was fabulous!
I had a wonderful experience, I learned something new in a relaxed, informative setting. I made something I hope to be beautiful!
We were allowed as much time needed to complete our Picasso glass artwork! The staff checked on us to answer questions and provide feedback. York (the dog) provided comfort if we were stressed. Thanks staff.
Had a great time! Bree was a lot of fun, a great instructor, and allowed us the freedom to take all the time we needed to complete our "masterpieces." Can't wait to pick them up. Will definitely be back for more classes. Thank you!
Took a class for the first time. Instructor was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and fun! Work space for students was minimal, as several students from 6-week classes were there finishing up projects. This provided a challenge with adequate supplies/tools and had to sit at a table outside of the class area or squeeze into a counterpoint space. It would be helpful to let first time students know about having an idea of a theme or design prior to the class, although Bree was an excellent resource and had several pre-printed designs to browse through.
My friends and I had a relaxing experience creating with glass. It's scary to think of making art with glass, but no one injured themselves, no shards, etc. The instructor was fun and knowledgeable. Her teaching style helped us get comfy with the different tools. I would definitely go back to explore the other creative classes they offer.
What a great experience. Definitely something I'd enjoy doing again. Bree did a great job explaining the basics to us --- and then she let us go be creative.
