- Pico Do Areeiro - There is no better way of starting the day than to experience the unique sunrise in Madeira… very invigorating! An event of this nature, only Pico do Areeiro can provide at it’s best. We start climbing up to Areeiro, the 3rd highest peak of Madeira with 1818m of altitude. We climb via Camacha, a little village in the mountains famous by it’s wickers pieces. After Camacha is Poiso, wich has a shelter house now turned in to a bar/restaurant, and marks the 1500m of altitude… and finally we arrive at Pico do Areeiro, the highest point in Madeira, and an unique place to watch the sunrise After the sunrise we go down in remote routs, in which we can appreciate Santo da Serra, a village surrounded by raw nature and breathatking views. The final descent to Santa Cruz, a city most known by the airport, and we will use very remote and narrow roads, that provides amazing postcards pictures. - Balcoes de Ribeiro Frio - The beautifull viewpoint is in the middle of the Laurisilva Forest, along a very flat hiking trail… at the end you will be amazed by the views! - Miradouro do guindaste - A beautifull glasswalk viewpoint in Santana’s district called Faial, where we can see the beautifull northcoast of Madeira, where you will be overwhelmed by the views!

Unforgettable experience! - Hugo gave us an amazing tour! He was on top of the weather to make sure we had s good experience- he actually suggested we move the tour to the following morning to give us a better chance at seeing sunrise. The weather didn’t cooperate but we had an awesome morning anyway! He answered a of our questions about the island and gave us good tips for other activities to do. Overall, Hugo went above and beyond in every aspect- He even let us contact him to ask about weather conditions for the sunrise a few days later when we went again. He always drove safely and is very friendly. 10/10 so much better experience wise than the big companies on the island. Thank you Hugo :)

Great sunrise and scenic drive tour - I had a great experience with Offroad-Seekers on my recent trip to Madeira. As a solo traveler, I joined a small, cozy group for a sunrise watching at Pico do Arieiro and a scenic driving tour, with stops for short hikes along the way. It was the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation.
Our guide Hugo was outstanding. As a local, he had incredible knowledge of the island's history, development, and culture. He made sure to share insightful stories and was very responsive to all our questions. He was also punctual, and despite giving short notice, Hugo managed to fit me into the tour without any issues, which I really appreciated.
The small group made the experience feel personal and friendly, and we all had a great time together. It was a wonderful way to see the island and learn more about how Madeira has evolved in recent decades. The stops for the hikes were well-chosen, and the views were breathtaking.
Highly recommend Offroad-Seekers if you're looking for an authentic, informative, and fun way to explore Madeira.

Very flexible and knowledgeable - Hugo called to cancel the Dawn trip because the webcam showed the peak in clouds with nothing to see. However with limited time on the island I asked if we could proceed and do something else at lower elevation. We did an amazing morning seeing the sights at lower elevation. It wasn’t his normal tour but absolutely wonderful. His special attention and flexibility was exceptional.

My best tour in Madeira - I loved the day with Hugo. It’s a great ride for those who want to see the essentials and don’t want to get tired for hiking.
Accessible to all , we do not spend all day there so it is great!
Hugo was very available and allowed us time to enjoy each place. It was perfect and in line with my expectations. I recommend it 100% and I already scheduled a second day with him:)
Bonus: if the weather is unfavourable to attend the sunrise, it offers a refund , which is very rare .
