Fantastic tuk tuk trip and toboggan - Our friendly guide picked us up from the hotel and was happy to tailor our trip to us. Ricardo was an excellent guide, telling us lots about madeiras history and took us to the toboggan waiting for us to finish before taking us to the old town where we could choose t be dropped off there or taken back to the hotel - Excellent from start to finish! Highly recommend

Great experience - Rick was friendly and very communicative. He had to change the pick up time due to circs and kept us well informed. Good local knowledge. Showed us the sights and a great local bar at the end to enjoy a traditional drink in. Thanks Rick 😊

An absolute highlight thanks to the driver! - We had Ricky as our driver. You could tell he loved what he was doing. The entire tour was highly recommended. Ricky knew well and could answer all our questions. On top of that, he exuded a kind of good mood that was immediately infectious.

Fun trip wirh great driver and guide - Tom was a great guide (and good driver). He called us to arrange meeting up. We met a short walk from the cruise terminal. We thoroughly enjoyed our tuk tuk drive up to Monte then down in the toboggan. We stopped for a local drink a poncha, which Tom explained was rum, honey and lemon, delicious. Tom asked where we wanted to end our tour in the city centre (we opted for this) or back at our cruise ship. We learnt a lot of interesting facts about Madeira on our short trip. We definitely would recommend this tour.

Tukxi Private Tuk Tuk Tour Madeira - Arranged pick up for this tour at the cruise terminal and our guide arrived on time. He was very friendly and extremely informative about the places we visited. He allowed ample time for us to visit gardens and churches, without having to rush, and took us to high vantage points so we could get breath taking views. We also drove down streets that were so narrow that unless you knew they were there or you were walking, would not be easily found. All in all a good experience. Would highly recommend.

Great half day trip - Great morning with the lovely Miguel. Collected and returned to hotel with option of anywhere drop off. Very informative with a clear passion for his island. Went up as far as Monte Palace gardens where we were left to wander on our own until the agreed pick up time. Once back down we were taken around the old town, again very informative. Any questions were answered and where possible we were taken to places we’d asked about. All in all, very good value, a lovely way to see a bit of Funchal with the personal touch. Thank you Miguel.

Tic Tic Island of Madeira - Unforgettable Tuk Tuk Tour with Ricardo and Miguel! We had the most amazing Tuk Tuk ride yesterday with Ricardo and Miguel! From the moment we started, they made us feel welcome and relaxed. Both were full of energy, knowledge, and humour — the perfect mix for a fantastic experience. They showed us incredible viewpoints, charming local spots, and shared so many interesting stories about the city’s history and everyday life. The Tuk Tuk was spotless and comfortable, and they were always happy to stop for photos or give great local tips for restaurants and things to do. It was truly one of the highlights of our trip — we saw and learned so much, and had a lot of fun along the way. Thank you, Ricardo and Miguel, for a wonderful day! Highly recommended!

Nice but Unnecessary - While this was fun and we had a great guide, this can be skipped. The main purpose we did this was for the infamous toboggans. Those can we done without this. He just drove us around to the top, pointed out some sights (hard to hear him in the Tuk Tuk) and dropped us off. The price of the Tuk Tuk ticket did not include the toboggan, so we paid separately. My suggestion… do the toboggans on your own!
