Really enjoyed the tour... - Really enjoyed the tour round the town and our guide Marcin was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely would do again.

Great service - Some weeks before our cruise we booked the tuk tuk for our day in port, had a great guy, Martim Olim, with plenty of knowledge of the city tour, with a friendly service. Pleased with the punctuality of our driver. Had a great time.

Town tour - Margarida, our driver was EXCELLENT. She gave us wonderful understanding of the Island's history, economics, culture, and dynamics. As a local, she was able to answer all our questions with much insight. The tour hit as many top sites as was possible in a 90 minute tour.

City Tour - Excellent city tour. The guide was friendly and very informative. Picked us up from the cruise terminal on time and in fact extended our tour slightly.
Took us down tiny side roads so that we could appreciate the history of the place rather than just being on the main roads.
Would highly recommend this tour company.

Not recommended - The tuktuk which arrived for our Tukxi Tour was in desperate need of mechanical work to fix both the brakes and stalling problems. This continual stalling throughout the tour happened on Funchal;s steep and winding roads which made the whole experience very uncomfortable, despite the driver managing to eventually restart the tuktuk when it stalled. The screaming and grinding of the brakes throughout the tour made it impossible to hear what the guide was saying unless he physically turned around to speak loud enough to drown out the sound of the brakes. From what we experienced, I wouldn’t recommend this tour.

Good get about taxi not a tour? - We had an issue with pick up and operator blames google ref on Viator. I think a better route description would also help. Once aboard we were taken to the market a church and a garden left at each to explore alone. If asked questions our local guide was full of knowledge but little of it was offered freely. Shame as I am sure if he was not on his phone all day with other customers it would have been much better.
