Fabulous Levada walk - We had a fantastic day walking the Hidden Corners levada walk with Lido Tours. We really liked the fact that even though our hotel was outside Funchal, they picked us up on the way, which made the trip really easy for us. The levada itself is beautiful and very easy to hike. Our guide kept us safe and entertained with stories and botanical facts as we walked. It was a bit muddy, but we were expecting that and it all brushed off when our shoes dried! A really enjoyable and good value excursion!

Loved this levada walk - Enjoyed the day. Picked up from hotel on time. Well organised. Guide Ruby was very friendly and informative. Walk starts and finishes same place. Cafe and toilets available. Walk was about 10km, flat except for some steps at start. Path was muddy in places and sometimes narrow, but very doable for most people. Just need to watch you're footing in places. Seems to be popular levada walk. We took a picnic and enjoyed a lunch break half way at the source of the levada. Overall had a great day despite rainshowers and getting soaked on the return - to be expected in such lush surroundings. Thankyou

Easy walk in the mountains - Pickup was on time and journey to the start of the walk was good. The walk was an easy 13k, but it was tiring as you really go have to concentrate where you are walking because of the mud and very narrow paths in places. The waterfall was wonderful to walk under. But take waterproof clothes and hiking boots. The guide was helpful and paced the walk well. The route is 6.5 k to where the levada starts and it’s the exact same route back to the start of the walk. There is a cafe at the start/end for drinks and the toilet. Great day.

Professional, safe with positive vibe - I had pleasure to participate in 4 walking tours with Lido. Firstly I love the possibility for online booking and information about free seats. All information I get before the tours were clear. Bus was always on time. All the guides were very caring and friendly. They told a lot of interesting facts about the island. I felt that they really respect nature and love this island. I can honestly recommend Lido Tours.

Perfect walk and day with Rubinha - It started as a rainy day but once we have reached the destination for our walk the sun came out and we had a beautiful day and walk with the perfect mountain guide Rubinha. She shared her Knowledge of flora, fauna and history in a nice and entertaining way. Always remember: those guides Share the whole day with you and take care of everything. Please don‘t be too shy to give them at least a little tip at the end ❤️

Excellent guides, professional service - Although graded as easy, it is still worth remembering that there are a few steps to climb at the start of the walk. The walk is in a beautiful setting and follows the leads. Our guide Sara was very knowledgeable and provided lots of detailed information on the flora and fauna. You walk under a small waterfall and stop for lunch at another waterfall before returning the same way. There is a cafe and restaraunt at the end of the walk for refreshments and toilets. The bus also stops on the way to the walk at a supermarket where you can use the toilets and buy your lunch. Walking shoes and a waterproof jacket are recommended. This was our favourite levada walk of our trip.

Lovely, relaxing walk - This is a lovely, relaxing walk - easy terrain and beautiful forests and views. We loved having our picnic at the spring. The guide was informative and friendly. The communication was good and pick up all went smoothly. We did several other trips with Lido tours too and I would recommend them - they certainly helped us make the most of our time in Madeira.

Relaxed hike in nature - It is a beautiful and relaxing hike along the Levadas. Good to master even for less fit people. However, it is important to be sure of your steps.
